After inadvertently granting King Einon immortality when he gives him a piece of his heart to heal him, the dragon Draco joins forces with Einon's former mentor, the knight Bowen, as they seek to put an end to Einon's reign of terror as the tyrant king rules his kingdom with fire and blood.
As Geoff stumbles upon a dragon imprisoned in a dungeon, he realizes that a wicked knight seeks to find a dragon's heart to fulfill his aim of ruling the world, whereupon Geoff helps him learn how to fly, fight, and defend himself.
