As Musaed is being treated in a psychiatric hospital, he remembers his parents’ rejection of his marriage to Shorouk and his insistence on continuing his engagement to her. Meanwhile, Shorouk waits for the end of the lawsuit of her inheritance from her second husband against his children.
Khalaf tells to Shorouk that she won the case and seized all of her late husband Jassim’s money. Musaed remembers his marriage to Shorouk and how she exhausted him financially so that he would fulfill all her demands until they divorced.
As Khalaf asks Shorouk to marry him, she stipulates that he must divorce his wife, Umm Talal (Talal's mother). Athari's husband, Mohsen, refuses that she borrow any money from her sister, Shorouk, because he doubts the source of her money.
Musaed tells his doctor about having helped Shorouk find a job working for Jassim, and Shorouk is upset when she learns that Jassim’s children have filed a lawsuit to overturn her inheritance of all his property.
In a flashback, Shorouk gets close to Jassim. Musaed asks a nurse to help him leave the hospital without anyone knowing. Umm Nasser falls ill and the doctor tells her children that she needs a kidney transfer.
Musaed's father gets Musaed's cousin to get closer to him and help him forget Shorouk. As Musaed remembers how he discovered his wife was cheating on him with Jassim, he escapes from the hospital.
Mohsen refuses to let Athari travel abroad with Shorouk. Musaed offers to cooperate with Nasser and Shehab, the sons of Jassim, against Shorouk.
Musaed returns to the hospital and tells the doctor of his monitoring of Shorouk and her refusal to quit her job at the company. Shorouk returns from abroad and incites her sister Athari against Mohsen.
Shorouk seeks to cooperate with the businessman Hamad, and asks Khalaf to collect information about him. Umm Talal complains that her husband Khalaf is treating her differently and is getting closer to Shorouk. Musaed remembers Shorouk’s refusal to have children with him.
Shorouk gets to know Hamad, and she tells him about her suffering at work after the death of her husband, Jassim.
As Shorouk invites Hamad to her home for her birthday, her mother seeks to get closer to him in the hope that he will marry her daughter.
Musaed remembers how Jassim tried to pressure him to divorce Shorouk, and when he refused, Jassim and Shorouk plotted to throw him in prison and accuse him of theft.
In a flashback, Musaed is arrested. Khalaf is upset about the frequent meetings between Shorouk and Hamad. Mohsen quarrels with Shorouk for inciting his wife against him, and he divorces Athari.
Shorouk refuses Hamad's offer to intervene to reconcile Athari and her husband. Hamad asks his assistant to collect information about Shorouk’s family and her previous husbands, while Khalaf asks Shorouk to go through with their marriage.
Shorouk deceives Khalaf with her love for him and asks him to postpone their marriage until she finishes her work with Hamad, who uncovers the truth about Shorouk and her greed and decides to exploit her in his illegal business.
Khalaf asks Umm Shorouk to help him marry her daughter. Jamal receives Hamad’s drug shipment. As Shorouk refuses Shehab's request to help him with his mother's treatment, she remembers using the general power of attorney that Jassim granted her.
Shorouk recalls exploiting the general power of attorney. withdrawing the money from the bank, and leaving Jassim until he died. Shorouk believes she is trapping Hamad, who outsmarts her by deceiving her in the name of love.
Khalaf quarrels with Shorouk over her relationship with Hamad, so she fires him. The police arrest Hamad’s men, and Hamad asks his assistant to change the location where the shipment is stored.
After Shorouk refuses to let him return to the company, Khalaf joins forces with Musaed against Shorouk. Hamad asks his assistant not to contact him so that the police do not reach him.
Khalaf tells Hamad about Shorouk's past and how she divorced Musaed, married Jassim, and seized his money. Mishari kills Jamal and Muhareb in fulfillment of Hamad's request, and Hamad offers Mishari to marry Athari.
As Shorouk tries to convince Athari to agree to marry Mishari, she decides to take revenge on Khalaf and submits bad checks that belong to him to the police.
Shorouk proposes to Hamad to merge his company with hers after their marriage. Umm Talal hires a lawyer to defend her husband, while Hamad plans with Mishari a new drug shipment.
Khalaf is sentenced to prison, and Talal decides to take revenge on Hamad and Shorouk.
Umm Talal asks her sister to help her son find work. Hamad marries Shorouk, who discovers his drug trade.
As Shorouk tells Athari of Hamad's drug trade, they plot to seize a large sum of money from Hamad.
Athari tries to convince Mishari to work for himself, but Shorouk reports Hamad to the police, who find the bodies of Jamal and Muhareb on Hamad's farm.
The police arrest Mishari and Hamad; Shorouk seizes the drug shipment; Talal claims his name is Khaled to work with Shorouk in distributing drugs.
Talal devises a plan to deceive Shorouk into thinking that he will distribute drugs for her, and Musaed remembers his old life with Shorouk.
Talal reports Shorouk to the police, who find the drugs in her home and arrest her. Musaed gets close to the doctor treating him and thinks about marrying her.
As Shorouk is sentenced to prison, she goes crazy and is transferred to a mental hospital. Shorouk recalls how she caused Musaed to go to prison, as well as Khalaf and Hamad.
