Ibrahim owns a ferry in which he transports people between the two banks of the Nile, but they are fed up with his control over them, and they try to collect donations to build a pedestrian bridge, but this only increases the tension between Ibrahim and the people of the village, especially Abbas, who loves Aziza, Ibrahim’s daughter.
