After leaving San Diego for New York, Ron lives happily with his wife Veronica. Everything changes when Veronica is promoted and Ron is fired. Heading back to San Diego, Ron is offered a chance to revive his career by an executive producer at the Global News Network, a 24-hour news channel. As Ron gets hired, he plans to reunite the news team and return to NYC.
