At the request of Skinner, Scully contacts Mulder to go see an internet news anchor called Tad O’Malley, who’s an advocate of the idea that the government uses alien abductions as a cover for shady operations.

As Mulder and Scully investigate the suicide of a geneticist who worked for the Department of Defense, their investigation leads them to shocking findings.

After a series of strange killings takes place, Mulder and Scully conduct an investigation into the incidents that have been allegedly committed by a were-monster, which Mulder eventually meets.

After receiving unpleasant news regarding her family, Scully returns home, while Mulder attempts to solve a murder case, in which the suspect isn’t human.

A bomber falls into a coma after attacking an art gallery, whereupon Mulder and Scully attempt to communicate with him in order to nip another attack in the bud.

Mulder and Scully are forced to deal with the consequences of their investigations, as a mysterious disease sweeps the country, whereupon the duo realizes that someone from their past might be able to help.
