In 1969, during the political unrest in Turkey and the occurrence of many events that greatly affected Captain Ali and forced him to flee the hell of his country. There, in exile, he meets Caroline, with whom he falls in love. She asks him to abandon his wife, Cemile, and his children. The internal conflict begins between Ali's love for his wife and children and his feelings for Caroline.
