A poor villager, who sells dairy products near Baghdad, is raped by the drunkard Rushdie Pasha, the chief of police in Baghdad during the time of the Ottoman rule. The girl attempts to take revenge on the Pasha, who seeks to marry her, leading to a chain of events.
