A con man and his charming wife enlist the help of a tour guide in Greece to get rid of the body of a private detective, where he gets tangled up in a web of secrets and deceit.

In 1962, the American couple Chester (Vigo Mortensen) and Colette (Kirsten Dunst) visit Greece, where they meet Rydal (Oscar Isaac), a tour guide who scams tourists. When the couple invites him to dinner, they ask Rydal to help them move the body of an unconscious man. From thereon, events take unexpected turns as Rydal finds himself irreversibly involved with the criminals Chester and Colette.
