As a male nurse, who is a former medical student, tries to save a patient's life because there are no doctors available, the patient dies, and the nurse loses his job and is jailed, which causes his fiancée to avoid him. After the court acquits him, he fails to find work except as a taxi driver, whereupon he begins to think about taking revenge on all of society.
