Ibrahim, the son of Abdul Moein the janitor, discovers that the spoiled student Medhat is stealing from his father and tries to pin the blame on them. When Abdul Moein falls ill, his daughter, Warda, a law student, is forced to help him with the building's affairs, but the residents agree that they must get a new janitor.
