The story of Cinderella is presented through a number of musical sketches, in which the oppressive stepmother treats her stepdaughter, Nawara, in a harsh way, and refuses to let her go with them to the ball held by the prince to choose a bride for him. However, her good luck sends a fairy to Nawara to help her get there.
