India is a friendless 18 year-old girl who is gifted with sensory acuteness. At the funeral of her loving father, she meets her mysterious and charming uncle, Charlie, for the first time. He stays indefinitely with her and her disturbed mother, Evelyn, for support. As Charlie gets intimate with Evelyn and India notices people disappearing, she makes dark realisations about Charlie and herself.
