A married woman with a teenage son complains of her emotional deprivation and turns to a psychiatrist to treat her. While she is wandering in a museum, she chases a man, with whom she has an affair. She discovers that he is suffering from a sexually contagious disease, after which she is killed by a woman, and a call girl witnesses the crime.
