Warda falls in love with Aliwi, but her father refuses her marriage to him. At the same time, Shuail, the son of Sheikh Ajaj, wants to buy Aliwi's land and marry Warda.
As Ajaj's sheep are stolen, Corporal Shaltagh investigates the case and arrests Aliwi.
As Naeem and Shalash are afraid of Laibi, Aliwi is released from detention amidst the joy of Warda and his mother, and Shuail tells everyone that he has pardoned the real thief.

Ajaj searches for Jabari, and Shaltagh tells everyone that Aliwi is accused of a political charge.
Shalash disappears and does not return until Aliwi is released from prison. At the same time, Aliwi quarrels with his uncle Othib because he is telling all the villagers that Aliwi is a spy.
As Badir and Halil object to their father Othib's stand towards Aliwi, Corporal Shaltagh arrests Aliwi again, but the officer tells him that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is requesting his presence and that he is not accused of any crime.
Ajaj believes that Aliwi will meet Nuri Pasha Said, the Foreign Minister, and he becomes jealous of him. Kashkhil’s house is burned down, and the mayor and Shaltagh work to uncover the perpetrator.
As Naeem and Laibi think about Shalash's great love for Aliwi, Aliwi goes to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and learns that his uncle, who lives in London, has died and his children are demanding their right to their father's land.
Aliwi is arrested while he is at a demonstration against the government, and Ajaj learns of Aliwi's uncle's death and the arrival of his sons to claim their inheritance.
Eid fears that the Englishwoman and her children will seize the land, and he tells his father that he is also afraid of Aliwi, who is still in detention in Baghdad.
Aliwi returns from Baghdad after his release, and amidst the joy of the villagers for his return, however, Kashkhil feels angry.
The chief asks Corporal Shaltagh to keep an eye on Aliwi after he is imprisoned on a political charge in Baghdad, and Kashkhil is angry because Laghwi has been appointed in his place to Sheikh Ajaj's council.
Sheikh Ajaj resigns from the council amidst his family's grief, and his mother asks Kashkhil to help her get rid of Aliwi and Shalash. On the other hand, Aliwi escapes from Shaltagh with difficulty.
As the chief goes to Baghdad and leaves Corporal Shaltagh in charge of the situation in the village, Laibi asks Aliwi to take care of Shalash until he returns from an important matter.

Eid likes Warda and wants to marry her, but Sheikh Ajaj refuses to let him marry her because he knows that Aliwi is engaged to her. Meanwhile, Hamid is arrested, so Aliwi tries to follow him to Baghdad.
Suhail is accused of destabilizing the country and is arrested along with Hamid, and Aliwi is detained with them in Baghdad.
Shalash disappears and his brother searches for him everywhere but cannot find him. Meanwhile, the British wife of Aliwi's uncle comes with her son and daughter and they feel bored with village life, amidst Warda's anger.
Suzy, Sarmed, and their mother visit Sheikh Ajaj's house and meet his wife and mother. Laibi tells Aliwi that Shalash is his brother.
As Sarmed and Suzy are both impressed by life in the village, Aliwi takes them on a tour of the orchard and teaches them about irrigation customs. Moreover, Sarmed engages in several funny situations with Othib’s children.
Sarmed and his mother go to Sheikh Ajaj, who is sad about leaving Aliwi because of his attachment to him. On the other hand, Shalash suffers from a high fever.
Laghwi and Othib go to Aliwi to convince him to give the land to the English, but Aliwi refuses, so Othib prevents his daughter from going to Aliwi's house again. On the other hand, Laibi visits Shalash to check on him.
As Sheikh Ajaj wants to marry Eid to Suzy to ensure that he owns the land, Eid's mother, Al Hajja, is still asking Kashkhil to kill Shalash.
As Kashkhil shoots Sarmed by mistake, Sarmed is taken to the hospital and his mother is worried about him, and Al Hajja is angry with Kashkhil.
As Aliwi is imprisoned for allegedly having criminals in his house, Sarmed is still in the hospital and the hospital manager wants to transfer him to London to check on him.
Shalash is killed and the police search for the perpetrator in vain, and Ajaj decides to stand by Aliwi so that the English lady does not take the land.
Al Hajja dies, Aliwi is released from prison, and Laibi threatens to kill him if he does not find Shalash's killer. On the other hand, Hajj Ajaj returns to work in the council.
