Adam and Jamila were raised together as children, but after the death of her parents, they parted and Jamila traveled to Alexandria.

After her parents' death, Jamila's uncle becomes her custodian, and she has to struggle to resume her college education.

While driving a motorcycle, Jamila's cousin hits a friend of Jamila's. Jamila is overburdened with this and is in conflict with her uncle who wouldn't be pleased if she reported the truth.

Jamila's uncle is doing his best to save his son. Meanwhile, Adam coincidentally meets Jamila without actually recognizing her, and they try to meet again.

Fahim, her uncle's lawyer decides to marry Jamila despite the age gap between them, but her grandfather averted this.

Adam's sister insists on marrying Kareem, and the grandfather's memory deficit worsens that it reaches a critical phase.

Jamila's uncle manages to reconcile with the family of the injured girl. Meanwhile, Adam's sister has a terrible accident after which she loses her eyesight.

Jamila's sister provides a description of the man who hit her, and her uncle decides to leave the grandfather at a retirement home, which enrages Jamila.

Jamila's uncle forces her into marrying Fahim, promising her to get her grandfather out of the retirement home. Helpless, she accepts. Adam's sister is to have an eye surgery.

Jamila's grandfather passess away. Jamila now has nothing to lose, so she rejects Fahim and the wedding is cancelled.

Adam accompanies his sister abroad for an eye surgery in the hope of restoring her eyesight, but the surgery is a failure.

Jamila moves with her uncle's family to Cairo. Adam's sister is trying to embrace her new life patiently.

Jamila starts working as a cook at a restaurant. Adam decides to marry the girl who loves him and throws a party to celebrate his engagement.

Jamila gets a higher salary at work. Adam's fiancée wants to rush him into their wedding. Eman's life takes a new turn as she decides to meet -and probably date- the man who hit her.

Adam dines at the restaurant where Jamila works, and she soon realizes it is Adam, her childhood crush.

Jamila meets Adam's mother and tells her how her life has been so far. Meanwhile, Adam's marriage turns into a cold relationship, especially after he meets Jamila again.

Adam reminisces over their good old days, and the gap between him and his fiancée widens. Jamila's life with her uncle experiences some changes after the night he spent with Adam's family.

Jamila resumes her work at the restaurant, and she finally picks up Adam's call, after a period of silence on her part.

Adam's mother invites Jamila over to their house after asking for her uncle's permission.

Adam is indecisive about his own feelings. Now that his emotions towards Jamila surface again, he wonders whether he can live with his fiancée and actually marry her.

Adam meets Sherif, Eman's boyfriend, and begs him to take good care of her and never to cause her any physical or emotional shocks.

Sherif is beaten by his stepfather, and Eman decides to visit and check on him. Adam visits Jamila at her house.

Adam and Jamila confess their feelings to one another, despite all discouragement that could be.

The restaurant's owner asks to meet Wafaa, Jamila's sister, and she expects that he will tell her he loves her. But he tells her that he is in love with her sister Jamila.

Adam's wife informs Jamila of her marriage to Adam. Jamila asks Adam not to call her anymore.

Adam finally decides to break up with Noha, because he solely and wholeheartedly loves Jamila.

Khaled, Jamila's cousin, tries to rape her, but Adam rescues her. Meanwhile, Noha tells Adam's father that they actually had a sexual intercourse after the marriage contract was concluded.

After Adam reveals his true feelings to Noha, she has a mental breakdown.

Sherif tells his mother that he is in love with Eman, but his mother disapproves of their relationship due to Eman's blindness. Jamila is trying to move out, and Adam is attacked by two anonymous men.

After a quarrel with his father, Adam leaves home. As for Jamila, she learns all about her inheritance, and she abhors her uncle for seizing it.

Hossam asks to marry Jamila who strongly disagrees. Meanwhile, Adam's father is trying to know where his son is.

Jamila decides to leave her uncle's house, and when her father finds out about it, he tries to contact Adam's father. Adam informs his mother what he intends to do, and Sherif proposes to Eman.

Adam and Jamila travel to Alexandria to meet the manager of the bank where her uncle deposits the money.

The bank manager hastily informs Jamila's uncle of their visit. Eman tells Ahmed that Azza is pregnant with his baby, and they have to sort it out together.

After knowing all about her uncle's deceit, Jamila decides to file a lawsuit against him.

Adam's father tells Jamila all about his son's relationship with Noha, and Noha informs Adam that she is pregnant with his baby. Jamila decides to leave Adam.

Adam and Noha's wedding is decided to be on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sherif knows that his mother talked Eman out of marrying him.

Adam and Noha get married, Jamila tells Hossam that Wafaa has feelings for him. Ahmed and Azza get back together.

Sherif tries to reconcile with Eman after his mother's conversation with her. Adam decides to help Jamila hire a lawyer.

Noha confronts Adam as he prepares to go to his friend's place where Jamila lives. Sherif's mother decides to help him with his marriage to Eman.

Jamila rescues a little girl from falling off the swing. In return, the girl's grandfather rewards Jamila by offering her a job.

Jamila takes up a job as a chef in Hurgada, but Adadm tries to dissuade her.

Adam learns that it is Noha who is trying to stop Eman and Sherif's wedding. On a different storyline, Ahmed confesses to Wafaa that he has been cheating on her. Consequently, she decides not to tell him about her abortion.

The two families of Eman and Sherif gather to read holy Quranic verses in celebration of the couple's anticipated marriage. Ahmed is informed that Azza had an abortion; he calls the police.

Enraged, Ahmed decides to file a lawsuit against Azza. Ibrahim decides to break up his partenrship with Medhat Mansour after the latter's relationship with the former's sister has been revealed.

Adam finds out that Hossam will have his own restaurant at Hurgada where Jamila works. Jamila goes further as to tell him that she is even going to marry Hossam.

Noha returns to live with her father. Ahmed is rejected by both women: Azza and Nani.

Dina's father refuses to wed her to Majid, which infuriates her and leaves her with a broken heart. Noha's father meanwhile discovers that the woman he loves is secretly married to another.

Eman is going through a difficult time now that Ahmed insists to sue Azza, and Eman has to testify in court.

Azza is examined by the forensic medical examiner to confirm her testimony, and Fahmy stops Eman and Sherif's wedding.

Azza is held for a pretrial detention. Khaled returns home, and Jamila returns to Cairo.

Noha intervenes to settle things between her father and her father-in-law, and Adam learns that Jamila is to work for his father's ex-partner, Ibrahim Mogawer.

Dina is getting ready to leave the country, but she changes her mind as she is notified that a friend of hers died in the demonstrations.

Ahmed decides not to ruin his ex's wedding by revealing all about their secret relationship, and also decides to drop the lawsuit against Azza.

Khaled wants to communicate to his parents his wish to marry a woman that is much older than him. Adam is trying to help his father out with his second wife, and Nani learns she is pregnant with Ahmed's son.

Adam meets a man who was an eyewitness to Eman's accident, and he reveals to him that it was Sherif who hit her.

Sherif decides to come clean about the accident. After her mother learns about her pregnancy and Ahmed refuses to admit the baby is his, Nani leaves home.

The police are investigating Nani's disappearance. Meanwhile, Adam decides to confront Noha after he learns about her previous knowledge that Sherif is the perpetrator of the accident.

Nani's corpse is found in a sack afloat. Eman and Sherif's wedding takes place after Adam decides to give Sherif a second chance to atone. Jamila attends the wedding, which causes distress.

Investigations about Nani's death are carried out, and it is now known that Azza contacted Nani before her death. Medhat decides to marry Ibrahim's sister on the condition that she helps him with his financial difficulties.

Medhat discovers that his new wife has seized her brother's money, and Nani's mother finds the sex tape that proves her daughter's relationship with Ahmed.

Detectives track down Ahmed to see how far he is involved in Nani's death, and Azza is arrested.

Azza is being investigated, and she denies any encounter with Nani. Eyewitnesses refute her claim as they saw them together. The police are keeping an eye on Ahmed.

Ahmed drugs Nani's mother so he would have the chance to sneak into the house and steal the sex tape.

Ahmed is caught red-handed trying to steal the tape from Samira's apartment. Sherif finds a french doctor who can help Eman, while Jamila travels on a business trip to China with Ibrahim Mogawer.

Adam lands a job vacancy in Kuwait, while Sherif and Eman are getting ready to travel for Eman's surgery. Ahmed is shot while he is deported to prison.

Adam accompanies Sherif and Eman to France. Eman regains her eyesight, which poses a threat to Sherif.

After coming clean to her, Eman refuses to forgive Sherif, and she insists on having a divorce. Meanwhile, Ibrahim proposes to Jamila.

Eman has a haemorrhage which results in miscarriage, Sherif divorces her, and Jamila rejects Ibrahim's proposal and quits her job.

Medhat and Maha kidnap Ibrahim to force him to drop the lawsuit against them, but Ibrahim is severely injured that he is taken to the hospital and he eventually dies.

Ibrahim disinherits his sister leaving all his money and fortune to his granddaughter, and chooses Jamila as her custodian. Adam frustrates an attempt to kidnap Ibrahim's granddaughter.

Eventually, Ahmed is freed from prison, Adam and Jamila start working together on the project Adam's father planned, and they get married against all odds.
