As Bibi quarrels with her husband and leaves the house, she complains to Nasser that his wife Sharifa caused what happened, while Souad threatens Khalifa if ownership of the house is not returned from his sister, Wadha, she will reveal what is hidden.

Souad asks her son Youssef to stay at his aunt's house in order to seize it.

Wadha and her son are upset with Youssef staying at the house and inviting his friends over. Khalifa gets sick as a result of his daughter switching his medications with other medications.

Souad kicks Khalifa out of his room, and he is forced to live on the roof of the house. Bassam robs Khalifa's money box. Faisal suffers due to his inability to obtain citizenship through his father. Sharifa quarrels with Nasser and suspects that he's having an affair with Bibi.

Bassam agrees with his sister to give the wrong medicine to Khalifa, and Nasser asks Bibi to stay away from him.

Khalifa quarrels with Youssef over the latter drinking alcohol at his aunt's house. Khalifa tries to search for the paper that Souad is threatening him with, while Bibi begins to provoke Sharifa's anger.

Souad tries to threaten Wadha in front of her son Nasser. Khalifa quarrels with his daughter Bibi for her poor behavior.

Bibi agrees with Youssef to file an interdiction lawsuit against Khalifa, whom Souad locks in the house. Sharifa asks Nasser for a divorce.

Souad agrees with her brother Bassam to wear a disguise and try to kill Khalifa so that he will have hallucinations, and she tries to burn down his room. Youssef's boat breaks down at sea. Bibi gets Wadha's maid to steal her watch in order to claim before Sharif that Nasser gave it to her.

Bassam tries to get closer to Bahia. Souad plots with the hospital nurse to write a medical report confirming that Khalifa has lost his mind, and to help her push him to commit suicide.

Nasser gives in to Bibi's attempts to get closer to him. Souad quarrels with her daughter, Bibi, because she mistreats her, after which she beats her.

Sadness overwhelms Souad as she believes that her son Youssef died at sea. After Youssef discovers that Nasser is not Wadha's son, the two quarrel and Youssef stabs him in the shoulder. Faisal quarrels with Bassam after the latter confesses his love for Bahia.

Wadha tells Souad what happened between Youssef and Nasser, and Nasser asks Bibi to marry him.

Youssef thinks about getting rid of his young son because he hates his wife, and Wadha refuses her son's marriage to Bibi.

Souad agrees with Samir to falsify the history of Khalifa's illness in order to declare him legally incompetent. Bassam threatens Youssef with reporting him to the police. Souad is surprised by her son Youssef selling the house furniture in order to get any money to give to Bassam.

Souad bargains with Bassam over her agreeing to his marriage to Bahia in exchange for him revealing the truth about Youssef.

Bassam burns Youssef's car. Souad asks Bahia to agree to her marriage to Bassam and live in her house. The police arrest Youssef because his ex-wife has filed a lawsuit against him for alimony.

Bibi threatens to leave Nasser if he does not ask her mother for her hand in marriage. Youssef is taken to the hospital due to his collapse and it's revealed that he has taken a large amount of drugs.

Youssef begins his treatment for addiction, and Bassam quarrels with Khalifa and beats him.

Bassam plots with his sister Souad to take revenge on Nasser. Youssef is injured in his leg and is unable to walk. Faisal decides to leave the university and study art.

Faisal refuses his mother's marriage, and Khalifa runs away with his grandson Mishari, much to everyone's surprise.

After Faisal leaves his mother's house, he asks Souad for her daughter Maryam's hand in marriage, but she scolds him and refuses. Souad decides to stay in Wadha's house with Bahia after her marriage to Bassam.

Nasser asks Bibi to file a lawsuit against her mother Souad for neglecting Khalifa, and Bassam marries Bahia.

Maryam accuses Souad of hiding Khalifa and threatens to commit suicide. As Youssef spoils Bahia and Bassam's wedding and expels everyone from the house, he convinces Sharifa to return to Nasser. Faisal suffers a psychological crisis and is taken to the hospital.

After Souad discovers that Bibi and Nasser got married behind her back, she reveals to everyone that Nasser is not Wadha's son, and Wadha is taken to the hospital.

Wadha becomes paralyzed, while Khalifa returns with Mishari. Bahia visits her son in the hospital. A verbal argument breaks out between Maryam and Faisal's friend.

Everyone stands against Souad, who learns about Bibi's lawsuit against her, while Khalifa promises Wadha that he will take revenge on Souad. Bassam plots with Samir against Bahia and gives her hallucinogenics.

As Faisal refuses to see his mother, he get engaged to Maryam. Youssef tells Sharifa that he loves her. Bassam forces Souad, under the influence of medications, to sign over her property to him.

Bibi confronts Nasser about his love for Sharifa, and she tries to convince her father to be his and his sister Wadha's legal guardian.

Bahia puts poison in Maryam's food, and the latter dies, while Souad goes crazy.
