In the backcountry of Quebec, Victoria and Florence, two lesbian ex-cons, are attempting to start over. A mysterious woman in the neighborhood eventually proves to be an increasingly frightening shadow from Flo's past, and the couple, seeking quiet and peace of mind, gradually start to feel under attack as Vic's probation office keeps appearing out of the blue.
