Wasila is devastated to learn that she needs an expensive surgery in order to get pregnant. At her birthday party, the festivities are interrupted when a lawyer arrives to tell them that their relative Qased Khair died and left his fortune to his daughter Wasila and his wife Samia.

Nabil tells the family that Qased was a classmate that tried to wed Samia. As Megahed tries to convince his wife to sue Qased for restitution, Wasila's husband convinces her to do the same to get money for her surgery. Nabil insists on Wasila taking a DNA test to confirm she is his daughter.

When the DNA test proves that Wasila is Qasid's daughter, Nabil accuses Samia of infidelity and fornication. Samia leaves the house to stay with her brother Ibrahim.

Wasila receives her inheritance from Qasid, much to her siblings' anger. Ibrahim and his second wife die of a gas leak. When his first wife discovers that he had another wife, she refuses to let Samia bring their son to live in her house.

As the family gathers to mourn Ibrahim, Samia grows upset when Wasila doesn't come. Ibrahim's brother-in-law tries to take his nephew from Samia but she refuses to let him go. Souad discovers that Samia knew about Ibrahim's second marriage.

When Wasila and her husband move into Qasid's mansion, her brother-in-law tries to curry favor with them. Samia goes back to work and starts investigating the violations she discovers.

As Wasila tries to reconcile with her siblings, they try to convince her to retake the DNA test. Wafik tells her that she must convince Samia to accept her share of the inheritance so she could take control of the factory. Mujahid tries to convince Samar to ask Wasila for money.

Ibrahim's brother-in-law wins his nephew's custody. Fayek gives Wasila some business advice. When Nabil's bookstore is foreclosed for not paying taxes, his son Tarek asks his sister Wasila for help. Fayek tells his new wife to get an abortion.

When Wasila discovers that Nabil is secretly married, she tries to use this to convince Samia to accept her share of the inheritance so that Wasila could become the majority owner over Caroline. Samia sues Ibrahim's brother-in-law for her nephew's custody.

When Souad receives her share of the inheritance, she asks for Wasila's help to invest it. Wasila tells her to pressure Samia to accept her inheritance. Mujahid alleges that he stole money from the bank to force Samar to ask Wasila for money.

Wasila forges her mother's signature and seizes control of the factory. Her first decision is to replace the foreign workforce with local workers. Samar and Mujahid fight after Wasila tells her that Mujahid asked to borrow 50 thousand pounds.

As Wasila prepares to travel abroad to have her surgery, Fayek tells Adham that he will take Wasila from him. Samar tells Samia about what Mujahid had done.

Samia discovers that Wasila forged her signatures and decides to sue her. Souad plots to seize her stepson's inheritance.

Fayek forces Adham to wed the girl he is dating, but Adham discovers that Fayek has a pregnant wife. Samia is shocked when her coworkers receive copies of the papers of her customary marriage to Qasid.

Samar's friend blackmails her using photos she took of her changing her clothes. Mujahid divorces Samar. Nabil tells Samia that he discovered that he is barren and tries to kill her.

When Nabil kicks his children out and tells them that he is not their father, they confront their mother and go to stay with Wasila. Adham manages to cause trouble for Fayek when he tells his wife Manal that Fayek took another wife.

Ahmed asks his father to have a DNA test to prove his paternity. Fayek starts to manipulate Samar after she starts working with Wasila. Mar'ei plots to seize control of Souad's fortune. Wasila learns that she is pregnant.

Ahmed confirms that Nabil is his father. Wasila discovers that Adham is cheating on her. Adham reveals Fayek's second marriage to Manal who asks for a divorce. Adham reveals that he forged the DNA test so that Wasila could get the money.

Tarek tells Wasila that he got married in secret. Wasila grows jealous when Fayek gets close to Samar. Adham enlists Samar's help to convince Wasila to take him back.

Fayek convinces Wasila to abort her baby to cut off her connection to Adham. Manal discovers that Fayek is the one who killed her mother.

Ahmed reconciles with Soha. Samar tells Wasila that Fayek proposed to her. Fayek hires a hitman to kill Manal's maid who is the only witness to his crime.

Mujahid agrees with Wasila to take revenge on Samar and Fayek. Souad tries to get close to Nabil so she could marry him.

Adham tells Samar that Wasila is behind the incident of her being photographed naked. Fayek marries Wasila but Samia and Samar crash the wedding. Adham tries to convince Manal to marry him after Fayek divorces her.

Wasila promises Mujahid money if he takes Samar back. Wasila goes on her honeymoon and gets pregnant.

Soha asks Wasila to help with Ahmed's project. Tarek is upset with the way Wasila is treating their family. Caroline tries to buy Samia's share of the factory.

Wasila decides to call her baby Qasid. Fayek starts to slip her drugs in an attempt to get rid of her. Nabil tells his children that he is going to marry Souad. Wasila's siblings unite against her.

Souad marries Nabil. Wasila tries to have Samia killed when Samia sells her share to Caroline. She also sues her siblings and father.

Wasila's siblings confront her. Fayek has Wasila committed to a mental institution after he makes her an addict. Adham wears a wire for the cops and confronts Fayek who reveals all his plots to seize the fortune.

Wasila is assaulted and slipped hallucinogens while in the mental institution. Samia tries to have her released but Fayek stands in her way.

Adham proves that Wasila is being fed a mix of drugs and hallucinogens and her doctor is arrested. Manal kills Fayek. When Fayek's sister tries to get custody of his son with Wasila, Adham reveals that the sperm used to impregnate Wasila during her IVF was his, not Fayek's.
