El Shaher steps in to break a big fight in the neighborhood. Hamdy's father, El Ayesh, tells his wife that he wants to marry off his son to Fathia, even though Hamdy is in love with Rashida.

When he catches feelings for her, El Shaher tries to flirt with Nawal, who was promised to his cousin before he traveled to the Gulf and got in an accident that left him with memory loss.

Fathia tries to make Rashida upset with her wedding preparations. When he decides to wed Nawal, El Shahaer asks Umm Mahmoud to keep an eye on Nawal and take care of her and her mother.

As Hamdy asks for Rashida's hand, her eldest brother Mazen opposes their marriage. El Shaher proposes to Nawal.

As El Shaher weds Nawal, he asks her not to tell anyone, but she reveals the marriage to everyone. Mazen quarrels with his father, El Shaher, over Hamdy's marriage to Rashida, since El Shaher gives his blessing to them despite Mazen's objections.

When Alaa expresses his wish to work in the land, Mazen quarrels with him and tells him that the land is his, warning him against trying to get it. El Shaher learns about the fight between his children.

Fathia incites Mazen against Rashida, telling him that she saw Hamdy and Rashida together on the rooftop. Mazen beats Rashida severely when he goes back home.

As Nawal's mother falls ill, she is rushed to the hospital. Mazen bargains with his father, telling him that he will approve Hamdy's marriage to his sister if Hamdy writes a house over to Rashida.

When Nawal's mother tells El Shaher that his wife is pregnant, he gets angry since they had an agreement not to have children. As El Shaher leaves Nawal and her mother behind, Nawal grows angry with him and vows revenge.

When he learns that his father is spending the night elsewhere, Mazen follows his father and sees him sneaking into Nawal's house. Mazen asks Nawal about why his father goes to her house.

As Mazen quarrels with Hamdy's father, Hamdy intervenes and quarrels with Mazen, only for the latter to take out a gun and shoot Hamdy's father in the leg before running away.

As Mazen goes home and tells his mother and wife that he shot Hamdy's father, Rashida overhears him and passes out. The police arrest Hamdy.

El Ayesh drops the charges against Mazen. As Hamdy proposes to Fathia, Rashida breaks down on their wedding day.

As Nawal sends for Alaa and informs him that his father passed out, Alaa rushes to his side, only to discover that his father has passed away. Rashida gets severely depressed.

Hamdy is saddened by what happened to Rashida and becomes depressed, refusing to get near his wife Fathia.

As Nawal gives birth, Alaa visits her and takes care of all her needs. As Fathia quarrels with Hamdy and his mother, Hamdy grows angry with her.

Rashida gets attached to her infant half-sister and spends a lot of time holding her. When Mazen gets released from prison, he quarrels with Nawal, which angers Alaa.

As Nawal takes a trip with her cousin, she leaves her daughter with Samira and asks her to take care of the baby in her absence. Hamdy quarrels with his wife over her jealousy.

As Fathia refuses to let Hamdy into the house, she passes out and falls down. Hamdy rushes his wife to the hospital, only for the doctor to inform him that she has a miscarriage.

Fathia leaves the house without telling Hamdy. When Hamdy finds out, he tries to find her. Nawal tells her husband that she wants to go back to her hometown and her daughter.

As Nawal and her husband return, she goes to Samira's house and asks for her daughter, Qamar, back. Samira is saddened by the turn of events since she had grown attached to Qamar.

El Ayesh visits Fathia and begs her to return to Hamdy, but she tells him that her marriage to Hamdy has gotten to a dead end. As a meeting between Hamdy and Rashida leaves the two yearning for each other, they decide to wed.

When Fathia's business partner proposes to her, she rebuffs him and tells him that she is dedicating her life to her work. When Mazen gets injured, his sweetheart Samira goes to check on him.

As Fathia weds her cousin Fetouh, she soon quarrels with him on their honeymoon. Rashida and Hamdy have a son.
