As his debts and taxes mount and leave him unable to pay them off, Saqr Abu Monqar believes the only way out for him is to get into a hospital. He learns that his brother Wedah works at the hospital and has hope that he might offer help.

Saqr meets Wedah and the two get to know each other, only for Saqr to try and persuade Wedah to write over his own property to Wedah, promising to make him his business partner.

Despite his initial suspicion, Wedah accepts to have Saqr's property registered in his name.

Wedah is arrested as he is accused of killing Naqa. In prison, Ghada visits Wedah to offer him help, and he develops a crush on her.

When Wedah falls ill, he is rushed to the hospital. As Wedah's wife, Sheikha, visits him, she is shocked to see Ghada there, prompting Wedah to feign having lost his memory, and hence he doesn't remember who Sheikha is.

Madame Fofo tries to get closer to Wedah and flirts with him.

Saqr decides to participate in a camel race, betting on the three camels he bought from Ben Shousan.

The doctor pays Wedah a visit and tells him that his brother Abu Al-Malayin (Saqr) wants to partner up with him for an important project.

Umm Ghada (Ghada's mother) devises a plot to wed her daughter to Wedah. She asks Eleiwa to lie to Wedah and claim that Ghada is to get engaged the following week.

Umm Ghada's plot to get Wedah to marry her daughter is fruitful, and her true intention to seize Wedah's fortune crystalizes.

Abu Al-Malayin's children are shocked when many reports against their father prompt the authorities to issue an evacuation order and confiscate their money and property. The children start to look for their father.

Wedah asks his brother to give him money to remarry. Buttay marries a young girl. Ghada stipulates that Wedah must take her on a honeymoon abroad.

Abu Al-Malayin learns that Victor has defrauded him, as Victor falsely claims that they lost the tender.

Abu Al-Malayin has Ben Shousan and Buttay locked up when they cause him to lose a sum of 50 million dirhams due to their negligence and lack of commitment.

Saqr requests more money from Wedah to start a project, pairing falcons with hoopoe and peacocks, but Wedah doesn't approve of the project.

Khaled blames Abu Al-Malayin for visiting Wedah, after Wedah seizes all his brother's money. Khaled and Abu Al-Malayin try to figure out a way to get Wedah to return the money.

Umm Ghada stays at her daughter and Wedah's house to devise a plot so that her daughter would seize Wedah's money. But she is shocked when Abu Al-Malayin visits her at home and brings her a birthday gift.

With many men wooing Umm Ghada, Wedah wants his uncle Buttay to propose to her as well. Buttay tries to get closer to Umm Ghada.

Abu Al-Malayin devises a plot to enable him to learn everything about Wedah and Ghada, and he plots it with Samar. He learns about the projects his brother is up to.

Abu Al-Malayin rejoices when Samar tells him she is pregnant, and he asks Shousan to fulfill her every wish.

Samar refuses Saqr's suggestion to call their daughter Fak'aa, after his late mother, only for the two to have a heated quarrel.

Samar still refuses to call her daughter Fak'aa, but when she learns it is a boy, she grows worried.

Khaled tells Ghada that Saqr wrote over all his property to Wedah to evade debts and taxes, and Ghada tells her mother of it.

When Samar gives birth to a baby boy, Saqr is shocked as it means he lost the money Wedah promised to pay if Samar gives birth to a girl and calls her Fak'aa.

Umm Ghada wants her daughter to give birth soon so they would have a better grip over Wedah and seize his money. But Ghada tells her mother that she and Wedah will separate soon.

Ghada is still adamant that she doesn't want kids with Wedah, fearing that Wedah might leave her, just as he did with his ex-wife, Sheikha.

Khaled swindles Ghada out of money, and it turns out that he and Saqr are in cahoots, as Saqr plots to get his money back from his brother.

Khaled retrieves all the money that Ghada and Wedah possess, only for Ghada to get shocked when she learns the truth. She kicks her mother, Saqr, and Wedah out.

Jobless and homeless, Wedah asks his brother Saqr to hire him at his and Samar's restaurant.
