Princess Elsa (Idina Menzel) has power to create ice, but she suppressed it because of an accident that nearly killed her sister Anna (Kristen Bell). During Elsa's inauguration as a queen, things get out of hand and Elsa escapes. Anna decides to accompany Kristoff and Olaf on a journey to find Elsa and save the kingdom.

Anna sets off on an epic journey to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in an eternal winter. Anna teams up with Kristoff, the mountain man and Sven his reindeer. Encountering Everest-like conditions, they battle the elements in a race to save the Kingdom. Anna's sister is haunted by the moment her magic nearly killed her sister, so she spends her time trying to suppress her growing powers.
