Bahar, a rural girl, marries an infertile man. In their culture, an infertile partner curses his family. The husband asks his friend to sleep with his wife so she can become pregnant, but Bahar refuses. When he forces her into it, she kills him and flees to Istanbul, assuming a different name and starting an entirely new life.
