Abdullah Al Sawaf is killed, and the police investigate the crime. They seek the help of Mayor Al Rashidi to complete the investigation, and summon his wife, Sabha.
Al Rashidi suspects that his son Faraj killed Al Sawaf. It's revealed that Khalaf is married in secret in order to have a child. Mohamed, Al Rashidi's son, looks forward to marrying Sally.
Faraj is arrested on charges of killing Al Sawaf, and Mohamed is forced to return to town and postpone his wedding in order to stand by his brother. Sayed seeks to convince Umm Al Sawaf (Al Sawaf's mother) not to confirm her accusation that Faraj killed her son.
Salem refuses to bargain with Umm Faraj to change her testimony in exchange for money. Dancer Bandariya falsely testifies that Faraj was in her house at the time of the crime, and it's reveled that she's secretly married to him. Al Rashidi asks for Amina's hand in marriage for his son Faraj.
As Al Rashidi has recurring doubts about his son Faraj, he asks Mohamed to try to find out where Faraj was at the time of the crime. Faraj marries Amina, which ignites the flames of revenge in Bandariya.
Al Rashidi asks Bandariya to leave the town in exchange for money, so Faraj divorces her. Amina's father is furious when he learns of Faraj's relationship with Bandariya. Al Jabri finds out about his son Khalaf's marriage.
Al Rashidi resents Ehtram's greed for his property, while he prepares to hold his son’s wedding. Zaher asks Khalaf to move his second wife to live in Al Jabri’s house.
On the night of Faraj's wedding, Al Rashidi dies, after which his children try to collect his estate. Khalaf asks Salama to run for mayor, but Sayed and Faraj quarrel over taking over the reins following their father's death.
As Salama divides Al Rashidi’s estate among his children, Sayed is surprised by the transfer of ownership of the house in his name, much to the anger of Faraj. Salama discovers that Sayed has seized the funds of Saad’s project.
Sally rejects Mohamed's idea of reclaiming his father's land, and Faraj has his eye on the same land, but Khalaf convinces the latter to establish a new project instead of farming. Ehtram proposes to Sayed to buy Al Sawaf's house.
Faraj decides to travel with his wife and leave the town. Umm Al Sawaf refuses to sell her son's house. Nusra stays with her husband Khalaf at Latifa's house.
Ehtram buys Al Sawaf's house. The broker Yousry tricks Faraj into investing his money with him. Latifa treats Nusra poorly and prevents her from seeing her son.
Ehtram tries to convince Umm Al Sawaf to sell her land, but the latter attacks Sayed and quarrels with him, and Hoda likes Mohamed.
Ehtram agrees with Sayed to keep Salama away from the townspeople for their personal benefit. Ikram gets close to Faraj, making Amina jealous, and Mohamed breaks off his engagement.
As Latifa tells Khalaf that she's pregnant, she demands that he divorce his second wife, Nusra. Ehtram agrees with Sayed to implicate Umm Al Sawaf in a murder case to get rid of her, and Mohamed proposes to Hoda.
Hoda agrees to marry Mohamed, and is surprised by Sally trying to sabotage their marriage plans. Nusra runs away with her son from Khalaf’s house, and as she causes the child’s death, she goes crazy.
It's revealed that Nusra's son hasn't died, but rather she hid him and claimed this, so the Mayor and Ehtram search for him. Ikram agrees with Mustafa to deceive Faraj and steal his money.
Amina is shocked when she discovers Faraj's marriage to Ikram, who informs her husband of her pregnancy, while Mohamed marries Hoda.
The townspeople complain about Ehtram's control over their daily livelihood, and they turn to Salama to rule among them. Nusra kidnaps Ehtram's son, and Faraj discovers Ikram's deception of him and divorces her.
