Ragheb, the owner of a contracting company, quarrels with the engineer Youssef for refusing to cheat in building materials, so he leaves the company. As Youssef travels with a one-year work contract abroad and his fiancée Siham supports him in his decision, Mahasin and Ramzy get engaged.
Youssef agrees to a partnership in a company between him, Bakr, and Saleh and postpones his return to Egypt for three years. Mahasin marries Ramzy, and Ragheb forges a letter from Youssef to Siham telling her that his future is more important than her in agreement with Siham's mother.
Nawal marries Essam, and Siham marries Ragheb in exchange for an apartment for her family and a job for her father in the workshop of Al-Antari, Ragheb’s father. Essam leaves work with Ragheb, Mahasin gives birth to Reem, and Ramzy dies in a car accident.
Al-Antari plans to seize Ramzy’s workshop and Jaafar’s land in the neighborhood. Youssef returns to Egypt. Mahasin refuses to marry Morsi. Al-Antari asks Morsi to burn down Mahasin’s workshop for refusing to give it up to him.
As Youssef visits Ragheb and Siham at their home, he establishes his own company with Bakr and Saleh. Mahasin takes over her work in Youssef's company, and Bakr asks to marry Mahasin.
Ragheb loses a bid to Youssef, and falls at the construction site, and loses his ability to walk. Siham tells Essam the truth of what happened to her and Youssef and asks him to make him stay away from her.
Selim refuses to work as a spy for Al-Antari, who asks Lotfi to disrupt Youssef in the bid. Siham and Ragheb travel for treatment abroad. Youssef begins establishing a factory in the neighborhood.
Al-Antari travels to Ragheb and the operation succeeds, and Al-Antari kicks Selim out of his apartment, so Selim beats him and gets imprisoned. Siham's mother confesses to Mahasin her agreement with Ragheb, and Al-Antari and Lotfi visit Atwa, the contractor who works with Youssef.
Ragheb and Siham return home, and Siham is taken to the hospital due to a nervous breakdown after discovering what had happened to her parents. She forgot the period of her marriage to Ragheb and is still waiting for Youssef, who discovers that he and Siham got played.
Ragheb is prevented from visiting Siham in the hospital, as she is still receiving treatment, and Nawal tells Essam that she is unable to have children. Morsi asks Youssef to work as a contractor in the factory and he agrees.
Selim visits Siham after the approval of the prison warden, and she suffers another collapse and remembers everything. Selim flees from the police and begins tracking Al-Antari's movements to take revenge on him.
Siham gets out of the hospital, and Al-Antari hides in his wife's (Rawya) apartment. As Siham asks for a divorce from Ragheb, El-Gafary, Youssef, and Essam go to Selim's house and rescue Al-Antari from his hands.
Selim surrenders to the police, and Ragheb files a report against Youssef accusing him of inciting Siham's escape. Siham files a divorce case, and Al-Antari and Atwa plot a trap for Youssef.
Siham receives a notification of obedience to return to marital home, and Ragheb and Al-Antari quarrel because of his marriage to the maid Rawya. Jaafar surprises Youssef with Mahasin's love for him, but he refuses the matter.
Al-Antari agrees with Atwa and Lotfi to cheat in the building materials in Youssef's operation and Bakr is suspicious of the matter. Morsi discovers that Rawya's brother had burned down Mahasin's shop.
Selim gets out of prison, Youssef withdraws the work from Atwa and gives it to Selim. Ragheb hides Siham's location fearing Selim, who discovers the fraud that had occurred in the construction and tells Youssef. Selim discovers Al-Antari's involvement in the matter.
Morsi confesses on Al-Antari, who gets arrested along with Atwa, and Lotfi. Mahasin gets married to Morsi, and Siham is divorced from Ragheb.
