Hamid apologizes to Shama, who feels ill. Lala Manana decides to take her son-in-law Mokhtar to a charlatan, hoping to heal him of his ailment, and Bahiya doesn't approve of such superstitions.
Al-Moqadem goes to Sa'adiya and digs a hole into the house, which he probes in to search for a treasure. Both Sa'adiya and Jamila join in. The charlatan fails to heal the Hajj.

Shama quarrels with Bahiya and kicks her out, but Lala Manana interferes and stands up to Shama. Kamal tries to get over Bahiya by throwing himself into Jamila's arms.
Upon learning that Jamila is having an affair with Kamal, Bahiya returns home just to torment her. Driven by jealousy, Aisha wants to have revenge. As Mokhtar falls down, Shama rushes to save him.
Jamila reports Kamal to the police, and Bahiya promises to stand by him. Hamid is excessively jealous that he locks his wife up in the house and takes her phone.
As Hamid learns that Shama is taking contraceptive pills, he beats her up and she goes to her mother's. When Bahiya quarrels with Jamila over her relationship with Kamal, Jamila tells Bahiya that her sister Shama deals drugs.

Jamila and Shama are imprisoned, while Sa'adiya is called in for investigation. Hamid is still running away, but he sneaks into his house to get money and the documents before he flees once more.
The girls, except for Jamila, are released from prison. Hamid decides to deposit all the money into his Canadian bank account. As Rahima's stepson decides to defraud her to get the house, Madany uncovers his scheme and saves her.
Madany proposes to Rahima and she accepts. As Bahiya sees Hamid in the field, he tries to strangle her when she confronts him, and he confesses to killing Mariam. As Shama overhears them, she hits him over the head with a stone to save Bahiya.
