Engineer Mounir tells his father, Abu Al Maati, of his intention to travel abroad to learn new ways to increase the size of the crop. Abu Al Maati is sad about this, and his wife, Kawthar, tries to prevent him, but he refuses. At the same time, Shaheen decides to take his wife Zeenat and leave his father's house after escalating disputes with his brother Saadoun's wife.
