Hessah quarrels with Majed and incites his father to treat him badly, while Ahmed resents his wife Mona's many demands. Saad vows to get back at Dr. Nayef for expelling him from the university meeting for being late.

Saleh praises the engineering design drawn by Majed, but the latter's father belittles his work and tears up the design. Hessah treats Maryam, her stepdaughter, badly and claims that she quarreled with her daughter Mona.

Hessah asks her brother to monitor her husband, Madi, in the company. Majed is upset that his father does not encourage him in his partnership in engineer Nasser's project.

Majed apologizes to Nasser for not partnering up with him on the new project, and Maryam proposes to her brother Majed to marry his cousin Hanaa. Hessah tears up Majed's new engineering design.

Salem incites Madi against Saleh, and Saad helps Hassan, a student at the university, despite his failure.

Nayef reprimands Hassan for his failure in his studies and his constant absence from attending the university. Hassan gives Yasser narcotic pills, and Hanaa refuses to marry Majed because of his staying at Hessah's house.

Majed leaves Hessah's house and lives with his sister Maryam. Madi asks Nayef to treat Hassan, Hessah's son, in a good way at the university. Hessah interferes in her daughter Mona's life, and pushes her to leave her husband Ahmed's house.

Hesseh refuses Mona's return to Ahmed until her conditions are met. Salem advises Hessah to seize Mona's gold. Saad destroys Yasser's computer so that he would be expelled from the institute, while Salem informs Saleh that Ahmed took bribes in the company's name.

Nasser returns from his travels and thinks of officially proposing marriage to Hanaa. Ahmed decides to force Mona to sign over everything he bought for her, and he continues to receive bribes without Saleh's knowledge.

When Nasser asks Saleh for his daughter Hanaa's hand in marriage, he tells him that she is engaged. Saleh hands Ahmed the gold that was stolen from him and interrogates him for taking bribes.

Hanaa refuses her father's desire that she marry Majed, and Hessah's son agrees with his mother to take revenge on Saleh through his son Yasser and push him to addiction. Nayef tells his wife that Nasser is the one who makes the designs for Majed.

Saleh threatens Salem and Madi after bribery is proven against them. Majed confronts Nayef with his accusation. Yasser's condition begins to deteriorate, and he asks his father for a lot of money to spend on drugs.

Saleh asks Ahmed to cooperate with him against Madi so that he will not report him to the police. Hanaa asks Maryam to keep her brother Majed away from her. Saleh suffers a heart attack and is taken to the hospital.

Saad gets Nayef in trouble with the university. Hessah's son asks Yasser to testify against Nayef to expel him from the university.

Hessah's son asks Yasser to steal his father's checkbook, and the investigation continues with Nayef over his involvement in the computer case at the university. Nasser marries Hanaa, and Ahmed hands the police a bag of narcotic drugs found in the bathroom of the house.

Nasser is saddened when Majed wins the award for best design. Relations between Nasser and his wife Hanaa become strained, and Nayef apologizes to Majed.

Nayef scolds Yasser for falsely testifying against him. Saleh asks Madi to break up the partnership between them. The police arrest Hassan and Madi on charges of drug trafficking. Ahmed cooperates with the police to catch Nasser after revealing his truth. Majed and Hanaa get married.
