Khaduj leaves her job at Donia's shop after the latter refused to increase her salary. As she moves to work in Fawzia's shop, Khaduj receives the award for the best dressmaker, and Othman proposes to her.

Allam is looking for a job through which Khaduj could earn as much money as possible. She goes to work in the house of Munir, who treats her like his daughter, and she confesses to him her father's cruelty to her.
