Some sort of a satellite crashes to Earth, and Jake and Ethan find it. In need of cash, they sell it to Earl, the local junk dealer, who then creates a scrap iron 18-foot golem for the town parade. The satellite has space bacteria that feeds on metal and animates it. The golem becomes infected, and a murder and terror wave begins.
