Ghanem in unjustly accused of killing his wife and serves a prison sentence, leaving his children in the care of their grandmother. As the years pass by and his children grow up, his daughter Abrar marries an abusive man who constantly beats her.
Abdullah quarrels with the husband of his sister Abrar, beats him up, and is later arrested. Badr asks a friend of Sheikha’s to collect information for him about Sheikha’s relationship with Youssef.
Badr calls Sheikha's father and tells him about her relationship with Youssef. Ghanem pays Abrar's husband an amount of money to drop his case against Abdullah and divorce her. Madawi calls her brother Ghanem after several years of estrangement.
Ghanem tells his sister Madawi that he’s found the first lead that will guide him to his wife's killer, who, he’s sure, is a woman not a man. Abdullah meets Ghadeer again after many years and rekindles his love for her. Mubarak suspects that Ibtehal has learned of his marriage to Maha.
Ghanem is traumatized by the death of his son Jassem in a tragic accident, and he threatens Nayef if he divulges the matter of his earlier imprisonment. Mubarak's daughter finds out that he’s married to another woman.
Ibtehal finds out about Maha's marriage to Mubarak. Hassan asks Abrar to go back to him after their divorce. Sheikha threatens to report Badr to the university, if he doesn’t leave her alone.
Bibi helps Badr in his plot to break up Sheikha and Youssef. Madawi advises Ghanem to claim his inheritance from Nayef. Abdullah quarrels with his sister Abrar when he learns of her wish to go back to Hassan.
When Ibtehal confronts Mubarak with his marriage to Maha, he doesn’t deny it, also, he reveals to Samira that he’s not her real father and that Ibtehal is her aunt before kicking them out of the house. Nayef rejects his brother Ghanem's request to have his share of the inheritance.
Ibtehal appeals to Mubarak to let her and Samira stay until the latter gets married, which he refuses. Youssef reveals to Bibi that he’s aware of her agreement with Badr to provide him with all of Sheikha’s information.
Madawi asks her husband to stop working for her brother Nayef. Abdel Wahab’s mother approves of his marriage to Samira. Mubarak takes his mentally challenged daughter, Hanan, home, whereas his wife Maha treats her badly.
Madawi asks Adnan to mediate between Ghanem and Nayef. As the police arrest Ghanem for bouncing checks, his children turn to their uncle Nayef to pay their father’s debt, which he refuses.
Abdullah decides to work with Hamad in drug dealing to save his father from prison. Badr plans with Bibi to expose Youssef on social media for sending his father to prison. Maha throws Ibtehal out of the villa, when the latter comes to see her daughter Hanan.
Sheikha’s father asks her to stay away from Youssef on account of the social difference between the two. Yacoub refuses to return Hanan to her mother, whom Maha beats and continues to treat badly. Abrar seeks help from her father’s neighbor with Ghanem’s problem.
As many thefts take place, the police investigate the matter, looking for the perpetrator. Sheikha's father offers Youssef to stay away from his daughter in exchange for paying his father’s debt. Ghanem falls ill in prison and is taken to the hospital.
Madawi tries to persuade her brother Nayef to pay Ghanem's debts, which he refuses. Mubarak divorces Ibtehal as per Maha's wish. Sheikha gives money to Youssef until his father gets out of prison, after which he gets arrested on suspicion of being the thief whom the police are looking for.
The police interrogate Youssef, whereas Madawi blames Abdullah for the former’s arrest. Yacoub quarrels with Maha, and blames her for inciting him to divorce Ibtehal and throw his daughter out.
Sheikha’s father threatens not to let her finish her studies and tells her to break it off with Youssef. Ghadeer decides to stay away from Abdullah. Abdel Wahab rebukes Samira for not taking care of Ibtehal, whom Mubarak tries to get back with, which she refuses.
Ghanem is released following a governmental amnesty. Abdel Wahab quarrels with Samira for kicking Ibtehal out of the house. Salem decides to stop dealing drugs.
Badr threatens Youssef to stay away from Sheikha or he will report his brother, Abdullah, to the police. As Ibtehal passes away, her daughter Hanan is taken to the hospital.
Mubarak learns of Ibtehal’s death, while Maha regrets her earlier mistreatment of his daughter Hanan, and decides to look after her. Samira leaves her husband and returns to Mubarak’s house. Ghanem tries to get his two sons, Abdullah and Youssef, released from prison.
Ghanem persuades Khaled’s father and Abdullah’s friend to drop the charges against Youssef and Abdullah. Sheikha decides to give Badr a chance to win her affection.
Abrar reprimands Sheikha for abandoning Youssef in his ordeal, and for pursuing a relationship with Badr. Ghanem carries on with his attempts to get his two sons Abdullah and Youssef out of prison.
Abrar tries to find out why her father was imprisoned in the past. Badr and Sheikha get engaged. Youssef gets out of prison. After Mubarak finds out that Maha mistreated his daughter Hanan in the past, he locks up Maha and ties her up.
Youssef is shocked by Sheikha’s engagement to Badr, after which he has a tragic accident. Rawda’s husband tries to persuade Nayef to stop feuding with Ghanem.
Sheikha asks Badr for a divorce. Mubarak forces Maha to work as a servant in the house. Nayef tells Abrar that her father Ghanem was accused of killing his wife.
Badr refuses to divorce Sheikha, and tries to unplug Youssef’s ventilator in the hospital. Salem gets out of prison. Nayef gives his brother Ghanem his share of the inheritance.
Madawi rebukes Nayef for telling Abrar that Ghanem killed her mother. Badr cracks up and threatens Bibi. Abdullah decides to avenge his brother Youssef.
Ghanem confronts his sister Madawi about her killing his wife, whom she tells him wasn’t killed by her, but rather fell on her head. Sheikha looks after Youssef in the hospital after she started her job there.
Badr regrets what he did to Youssef. Ghanem forgives his sister Madawi. Abrar gets married. Abdullah and Ghadeer are officially engaged.
Abdullah quarrels with his sister Abrar for stopping wearing Hijab, whereas Madawi quarrels with her when she asks her father to share out his fortune. Ghanem gathers his children and grandchildren around him.
