Penny, a pretty woman coming from Omaha to California as an aspiring actress. She moves into the apartment across the hall from Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper. Leonard and Sheldon are both brilliant Physicists. Colleagues, best friends and roommates Leonard and Sheldon have a relationship that is being continuously tested by Sheldon's deeply eccentric and non-convential attitude. They're also friends with their colleagues mechanical engineer Howard Wolowitz and astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappali. With Penny moving across the hall, Leonard has a new aspiration in life besides physics.
