Laila quarrels with her son Othman for wanting to marry his cousin. Othman's aunt too rejects the match for the striking discrepancies between them. The disputes between Omar and his wife end and she returns home with him. Sahar gives birth to her first baby with Faisal.
Laila mysteriously disappears for a long time, and when she returns, she refuses to reveal where she has been and she becomes cold and harsh with her children. Badr's parents rebuke him for staying at the house of his parents-in-law. Hend is pregnant.
Emad quarrels with his younger brother Otham for insisting on marrying Reem despite the family's disapproval. Similarly, Omar quarrels with Hend for staying late at work and urges her to get an abortion. Badr is upset that his wife refuses to visit his parents.
To keep Othman away from her daughter, Reem's mother decides to wed her to her friend's son. Laila once again disappears without a trace. Badr communicates to his mother his misery that his father loves his son-in-law more than he loves his own son. Hend is considering having an abortion.
Upon her parents' unalterable rejection of the match, Reem quarrels with her father and elopes with Othman as they plan to get married in secret. Laila agrees to Tiba's stay at the house of her in-laws.
Things aggravate for Laila and her children following Othman's elopement with Laila. Laila's father has a heart attack. Hend takes the abortion pills Omar bought her.
Badr and Tiba move to Badr's family house where his mother mistreats and humiliates Tiba. Laila is shocked to learn of Othman's marriage.
Othman and Reem return to Kuwait and he quarrels with his mother over his marriage. Badr quarrels with his wife for wanting to leave his parents' house, but he's also infuriated that his mother is harshly treating his wife.
Othman quarrels with Emad over his return and his stay with his wife; he also informs him that their father deprived their mother of inheritance. Tiba leaves Badr's family's house and returns to her parents. Mariam promises to take revenge on Laila's family.
Othman's quarrels with Emad resume. Hend overhears Emad's mother saying she got married. Hend tells Omar she's pregnant. Laila confronts Emad with her knowledge that he owns an apartment where he meets his friends.
Sahar learns that her husband has been cheating on her. Othman files a lawsuit against his mother. Omar asks Emad to intervene to clear the air between the families, especially now that he knows the reason for their dispute. Badr divorces Tiba.
Hoda, Sahar's friend, marries Seif. Reem threatens Hend after discovering that she asked the cook to put something in her food, while Emad suspects that it is his mother who plotted for this. Soliman quarrels with his wife and accuses her of ruining their son's marriage.
Each of Laila's children finds a gift and a letter from her calling for reconciliation. Emad is accused of murder when the body of a girl is found in his apartment. Sahar suspects that her father is seeing someone.
Laila cooperates with Hend to get rid of Reem and she blackmails her with the photos she filmed in the studio. Laila plots to have Reem's husband suspect her.
Tiba refuses to return to Badr. Sahar's mother sees her son-in-law with another woman. Reem resorts to black magic to fight Laila back. Laila falls unconscious and gets really ill that she is taken to the hospital.
Laila's condition is getting worse to the extent that Othman asked Emad to take her to consult a psychiatrist. Wesal tells Soliman that Seif has a second wife. Reem falls down from the stairs, the thing that results in miscarriage.
Badr renews his wish to be reunited with Tiba, but Tiba, meanwhile, meets Khaled and their relationship develops quickly. Soliman throws Wesal out of the house. Laila tells Tiba that she is the reason Reem had a miscarriage.
Khaled learns of Tiba's previous marriage. Hend threatens Laila to buy her husband's share in the house otherwise she will expose her marriage to everyone. Othman asks Emad to buy his share in the house. Hend gives birth.
Hend continues to threaten Laila to inform her children of her marriage. Soliman blames Faisal for marrying another woman. Tiba tries to get back with Khaled, and Badr quarrels with her when he finds out about their relationship.
Tiba assures her family that Khaled is merely a colleague. Badr and Sahar are informed that their father married Laila in secret. Soliman threatens Laila, but she turns the table on him and informs him of her marriage.
Laila is going through a tough time as her children expel her upon learning of her marriage, and Soliman urges her to abort. Wesal falls ill when she learns about her husband's other wife, and she is transferred to the hospital.
Soliman's life is ruined as his children quarrel with him. Emad's siblings ask him to give up his share in the house and in exchange, they will entrust him with the management of the company.
The doctor reports to Emad that his mother has heart failure and she shall never be subjected to any shocks. Reem overhears Tiba talking to Khaled, and she informs Badr. Soliman returns to Laila.
Sahar refuses to forgive her husband and insists on divorce. Soliman refuses to divorce Laila and get back with Wesal. Tiba and Khaled are arrested after being in a suspicious place. Reem is heavy-hearted to learn she is barren.
Othman prohibits his sister from going out. Hoda asks Faisal not to stay at his ex-wife's house. Othman meets a friend of Tiba's and he soon develops feelings for her. Reem moves to Laila's room despite Othman's rejection of the idea.
Despite Hend and Reem's attempts to ruin things between Khaled and Tiba, Khaled proposes to Tiba and decides to work on fixing things between her and her siblings. Faisal and Hoda get closer. Laila tries to convince Soliman not to divorce Wesal.
Laila urges Soliman to divorce her and return to Wesal and his children. To save her daughter's marriage, Reem's mother asks her to feign pregnancy. Emad proceeds to sell the house.
Othman and Omar ask their mother to reside at her house after they sold the family house, but she refuses and throws them out. Laila's health is going downhill, and she asks for Sheikha's forgiveness. Tiba agrees to marry Khaled.
Reem asks Othman to write his property and his share in the company in her name. Shahy tells Emad she's pregnant. Soliman passes away. Sheikha advises her daughter to put revenge aside and start anew with Laila, but Reem refuses.
Othman learns that Reem solely aims for revenge. Badr returns to Tiba, and Faisal to Sahar. The four children ask for their mother's forgiveness and they intend to turn over a new leaf.
