Shaghaf, a casino owner, is indebted to the bank. Her husband has an accident that leaves him in a coma while her cousin, Karim, who is a drug dealer, tries to assassinate her husband. Sewar tries to rescue Amir, his imprisoned brother.

Sewar goes to the casino to make some money to help his brother, and Shaghaf lets him win. In exchange, he has to return double the amount of money in a week. Karim meets Sewar and urges him to prevent his sister from going to the casino.

Sewar brother evades the death penalty by escaping from prison. Sewar gets beaten and robbed after winning a huge amount of money in the casino. Karim’s sister escapes from his house and goes to Shaghaf.

Karim is shot and rushed to the hospital where he sees Shaghaf and Sewar together as she visits him. Karim's sister intends to spend some time at Shaghaf's place until she travels to her boyfriend in Colombia. A gang is chasing Sewar’s brother in order to find a statue he stole from them.

As they open up about their pasts, Shaghaf develops feelings for Sewar. Shaghaf goes to Karim’s ex-fiancée who tells her that Karim loves her, and that's why he tried to kill Galal. The bank confiscates the house and the casino. Karim tells Shaghaf he loves her.

Karim’s sister realizes that he killed her boyfriend and he ties her up and takes her home. Shaghaf investigates about Karim buying an excellent piece of land for a trivial sum of money. Shaghaf tells Sewar that she likes him, but she can’t meet him anymore.

Shaghaf searches for the man who plotted with Karim to buy the land. A group of anonymous gunmen attacks Karim's house. Shaghaf's husband wakes up from the coma. Sewar meets Amir.

Jalal’s memory is distorted after he wakes up. Sewar launches a huge project. Upon learning that he is not sterile, Amir starts lamenting some decisions he has made. Karim’s employees object to reconciling with the ones who attacked them.

Shaghaf tends Jalal. Top businessmen refuse to collaborate with Karim, and he learns about Jalal’s recovery. Karim shoots back at his shooters. Shaghaf sends a spy to Karim’s to find proof to indite him.

Sewar gets upset with Shghaf when she tries to return some money she borrowed from him, and she warns him from Karim, who realizes someone’s digging his secrets. Shaghaf’s man tells her he got proof against Karim. A journalist visits Sewar to cut a deal with him.

Jalal notices that Shaghaf is emotionally detached from him. Amir returns to the crime world and works with Abu Aleil. Karim controls his enemies’ estate after he eliminates them.

Shaghaf confronts Karim with a recording of him confessing to burning down the rice field, and she forces him to extend the loan term for her and compensate her for the damage he has caused.

Karim vows revenge on Shaghaf and marries his ex-fiancée. Shaghaf asks Jalal for a divorce as she has feelings for Sewar, but he refuses to give her one.

Karim returns to his estate and promises his workers higher production. Mayada tells Shaghaf that financial books are messed up, which indicates embezzlement. Shaghaf is investigated. Jalal meets Karim.

Sewar forces the person who hacked into Shaghaf’s books to indite Karim. Karim threatens to kill Jalal. Shaghaf is released, and Jalal sees her hugging Sewar.

Jalal confronts Sewar about his relationship with his wife. When Jalal scolds the maid for not telling him that Sewar frequented the place while Jalal was hospitalized, the maid takes the whole story to the TV and scandalizes Shaghaf.

Nabil proposes to Nanci. Sewar tells Shaghaf not to worry about the maid. While exercising at the gym, the machine she has been exercising on is stolen. Jalal is murdered. After some time, it is revealed that Shaghaf is to marry Karim.

It is revealed that it is Karim who murdered Jalal and framed Shaghaf. He later decides to blackmail Shaghaf into marrying him in exchange for not reporting her to the police. Sewar's life is an utter mess.

Amir acquires a hidden treasure. Karim is having problems with one of his enemies, while Shaghaf couldn’t care less about him.

While Shaghaf can’t hack into Karim’s computer, she finds her way to his safe. Sewar and Amir make amends. Shaghaf and Nanci find out that Nabil tried to kill Jalal while at the hospital, and it was Karim who sent him to do it, so Nanci breaks up with him.

Kamal, Sewar’s friend, dies of illness. Shaghaf gets hooked on pills to carry on with her life, but she collapses with an overdose of sedatives, and is rushed to the hospital. Nanci elopes with Nabil, leaving Karim behind.

Sewar learns what Karim did to Shaghaf and he visits her at the hospital. Sewar quarrels with Karim and it gets so extreme. Karim hires a man to keep an eye on Sewar. Shaghaf starts getting closer to Karim.

This nicety from Shaghaf towards Karim is merely a pretense. Karim puts an eye on Amir since he is Sewar's weakness. Shaghaf asks Nabil to help her take revenge on Karim.

Sewar and Shaghaf plan to get rid of Karim after she tells him of all his crimes. Karim is kidnapped and tortured by Shawwal. Shafik fights with Amir for being unjust and oppressive. Amir starts a partnership with someone for biohazard and medical waste management.

Shaghaf takes advantage of Karim's absence and ruins his narcotic plants as advised by Nabil. After bargaining with Shawwal, Karim is set free.

Sewar investigates Jalal's murder. When Karim finds out about his plants, he puts his assistant on to watch Shaghaf, who collaborates with one of his former victims along with Sewar. Karim takes Abu Alwafa's men hostages.

Sewar quarrels with Amir over his illegal business. Shaghaf continues her false nicety to Karim. She later goes to meet Mansour after he calls her saying he is injured.

Shaghaf plots with Mansour to bring Karim down. Saied presents Shaghaf with evidence that can condemn Karim. Karim wants to have a baby with Shaghaf. It turns out that Karim is collaborating with Amir.

Shaghaf meets Amir at her house and meets Karim’s ex-girlfriend with Sewar. Karim finds out what she did to his cocaine lab, while she manages to hack into his computer and obtain evidence of money laundering.

While Sewar is celebrating his birthday with Shaghaf, Karim shoots him down. Karim's ex-girlfriend tells the police about his business. Both Karim and Amir get killed. A while later, Nabil gets back to Nancy, and Sewar and Shaghaf end up together.
