The socially inept Englishman Stuart Pritchard is a web designer who lives in Los Angeles. When he tries to get a date with his roommate Jessica's friend, things don't go as planned when he takes his friends Wade and Kives to a nightclub to meet her.

In an attempt to impress his estranged wife Marion, Wade hires a limousine for her, but when she rejects his plans, Stuart takes Wade and Kives in the limo hoping to get lucky with the ladies.

Things don't go as planned after Stuart asks a girl from the yoga studio out. Jessica is enraged that her rival Amelia landed a major role in a movie.

Stuart goes with Jessica to a gay club for a chance to meet straight women, and they get invited to a dinner party. Wade and Kives have their own fun night at Stuart's place.

In the hopes of seeing a model he recently met, Stuart throws an epic pool party. Jessica helps out a homeless girl.

After befriending some construction workers, Stuart is invited to a party in Long Beach for a chance to meet women. Jessica gives Wade tips on how to win back his wife.

When Stuart and Jessica attend a wedding, he tries to change the seating arrangements so he can sit with single women. Jessica is anxiously waiting for a call-back after her audition for a major role.

Stuart's plans to go out with Kimberly take many surprising turns. Jessica's happiness is cut short after she gets unsettling news.
