The story begins with a history of Dalida's parents and their difficult marriage. Dalida is currently living with her mother, Sofia, but their lives are changed forever when a terminal illness is discovered.

Selim (Dalida's father) is deep in debt and is being tormented by his family. Dalida is trying to get her mother treatment but is ridiculed when she asks for help from her fathers family.

After Sofia's death, Dalida is devastated. Her father's problems with his family cause him to go to prison. Soliman agrees to Dalida and Adham's marriage under a condition. When Selim gets out of jail, the revenge war on Soliman begins.

The conflicts continue between Selim and his siblings. Dalida designs Nur's wedding dress. Selim pressures Dalida into a marriage. An accident during Nur's wedding results in a tragic death, and the war between the siblings is now tainted with blood.

Soliman is plotting for a bloody revenge against Selim, which puts Adham in a tough position. Dalida is kept captive by Hossam, and shocked when she finally manages to escape.

Dalida escapes from Adham. Selim forces his daughter Dalida to get married to her cousin Ragab, and she agrees after her incident with Adham. She decides to start a new life, and is subjected to a kidnapping.

Ali rescues Dalida from being kidnapped and abused. The three siblings are in conflict due to Dalida's escape on her wedding night. Selim suspects that his brother Soliman kidnapped Dalida. Dalida faces financial problems in Alexandria and looks for a place to stay with the help of a jewelry store owner. Dalida meets with Nesrin.

Ali falls in love with Dalida, immediately, without knowing anything about her. Dalida is able to find a job at a tailor's with a modest salary. Dalida faces difficulties with the people of the area, the tailor's wife and her roommate. Her family are still looking for her because they feel that she has disgraced them.

After being asked to leave, Dalida has nowhere to go. Ali goes to look for her and hears the neighbors saying that she got kicked out. Nesreen helps Dalida find a job with Madam Farida, a fashion designer, as a cleaner. Saad and Soliman conspire against Selim. Dalida fixes a dress in the hopes of getting Madam Farida to hire her as a seamstress.

Dalida settles into her work with the famous fashion designer. Ali and his mother go to Farida and he sees Dalida there. His mother insists that he stay away from Dalida because she will not allow her only son to marry a maid.

Dalida continues to work with Farida, and Farida mistreats her and takes credit for her designs. Ali's mother offers her a sum of money in exchange for her staying away from Ali. Dalida decides to quit working with Farida. Hossam (Dalida's brother), Nader and Adham decide to go to Alexandria to look for her.

Hossam is unable to find Dalida because she hides from him. Adham goes to the atelier to ask Farida about Dalida. Dalida asks Farida to put her name under her dress design for the fashion competition, and Farida refuses.

Farida is still taking Dalida's designs and taking credit for them, so much so that she entered a fashion contest and won first place by using Dalida's designs. Dalida gets angry and tells everyone that Farida steals her work. Farida decides to get back at her by telling Adham where he can find her, and Adham prepares to take her back by force.

Adham is able to forcefully take Dalida, and on their way, he tells her that he wants to marry her. Dalida refuses, and Ali interferes to save her from Adham. Dalida finally tells Ali about her childhood and her dream of becoming a fashion designer, and he promises her that he will support her.

Adham tries to find out information about Dalida's relationship with Ali, and Farida gives him false facts that anger him. He decides to kill Dalida. Dalida meets up with a costumer who gives her money for renting the dress that she designed. Adham manages to get to the hotel where Dalida is staying, with the intent to kill her together with Ali.

Dalida decides to disappear from Ali's life and finds a new place to live with Nesreen. Ali has a special place in his grandfather, Sakr's, heart, which makes his cousin jealous. Soliman is distraught when he learns that Sakr al-Baron is the person protecting Dalida. He tells Adham to stay away from her. Dalida meets Sakr by coincidence as her next-door neighbor.

Dalida opens up her own atelier, designing dresses for stars and famous people. Adham, against his father's wishes, decides to not give up taking his revenge. Dalida and Sakr form a friendship and Sakr suggests that she marry his grandson. Dalida has no idea that Sakr's grandson is Ali.

Ali surprises Dalida by buying a new boat and naming it after her. His cousin is jealous and tells Perry that Ali intends to marry Dalida. Farida decides to hire gangsters to burn down Dalida's atelier. Adham's father tells him to leave Dalida alone and to focus on her brother Hossam. Adham goes to his uncle, Selim's, house to kill Hossam.

Dalida's atelier is destroyed, but she still wants to enter the fashion competition, and prepares for it with the help of Ali. Ali's mother supports Farida in the competition. Selim is taken to the hospital in a critical condition after being shot. Hossam tells the police about Adham's attempt to kill his father, and Soliman tells Adham to go kill Selim at the hospital.

Dalida wins Best Designer at the Fashion Festival, and Farida goes in shock. Ali tells his mother that he wants to marry Dalida and she refuses. Soliman threatens Selim at the hospital that he will kill them all if Hossam doesn't change his testimony against Adham.

Dalida decides to open her own atelier where she can showcase her designs. Ali takes her to the place where Farida's atelier is and convinces her to take the store across from her. Dalida agrees to marry Ali. Haitham and Perry celebrate their engagement. Ali threatens Farida and tells her to leave Dalida alone. Ali's mother sits with Dalida to plan for the wedding.

The Baron tells his grandson that he cannot marry Dalida, because she comes from the al-Tahir family, who have killed two members of their family. Farida is livid when her customers go to Dalida's atelier, and decides to sell her business and leave the place. Selim refuses his son, Hossam, money. Ali tells his mother, Suzy, about his marriage to Dalida.

Dalida decides to open another store in Cairo. Ali tells her the truth about her grandfather killing his father. His grandfather reconsiders, and Ali goes to Cairo for Dalida, who rejects him. Adham decides to marry his cousin, Kholoud, to spite Hossam, who wanted to marry her.

Ali and Dalida get married at the same time her father, Selim, goes to Alexandria to look for her. Adham marries his cousin, and Hossam arrives at the wedding with plans to disrupt it.

Selim attends Dalida's wedding and meets the Baron, who recognizes him and gets angry. Dalida applies for a loan to expand her business. Haitham decides to murder Selim, and Dalida decides to bury her father in al-Khan, with her mother.

Dalida sees her brother, Hossam, in al-Khan and blames him for the death of her father. Then she issues a complaint to the police about him and he gets arrested. The Baron has a health problem and is hospitalized. Dalida decides to open a new atelier in Beirut, and Farida wants to work with her.

Ali discovers that his grandfather cut him from him will, and gave all his possessions to Haitham, his grandson. Adham burns down his cousin, Hossam's, lands. Hossam goes to Soliman's palace and attempts to set it on fire, and Soliman kills him in front of his men.

Dalida signs a deal with a French design house, and Ali creates his new company. Soliman is arrested for the murder of Hossam, and gets a life sentence. His son, Adham, leads al-Khan and takes charge of the factory and lands.

Ali runs Dalida's boat. One of the Baron's boats sink with the workers on it, because of Haitham's mismanagement. The lawyer who created the false documents for Haitham's inheritance appears on the scene, and Ali finds him. The lawyer admits that Haitham had the Baron sign documents during his sickness. Dalida learns that her father was killed by Haitham and not Adham and Soliman.

Dalida stops Ali from killing her cousin, and he packs his things and leaves the house. She buys the family factory, runs a successful business, and has two children with Ali.
