Set in the 1870s; fed up with the U.S. government and the promises they don't keep, a group of Cheyenne Indians embark on a journey to return to their ancestral lands, an act viewed by the government as insurrection, so they task the sympathetic Captain Thomas Archer with stoping the Cheyenne and forcing them to go back to their reservation.
