The second season continues to depict stories from the French-occupied Levant, including that of Colonel Frantz who marries Mariam, Mal Al-Sham who gets back to her family, and Abu Taleb who gets into a lot of trouble when the Syrian government conscripts him.


Abu Taleb tries to figure out who is the traitor that has been causing him and his family endless trouble. Meanwhile, Hamza is incessantly trying to find the girl he is in love with. Umm Taleb and Mariam's sisters are trying to find a cure to heal Mariam and reverse the curse cast upon her.


Abu Taleb continues his patriotic and moral antics, which increases the problems between him and his enemies.
