After the Pasha suffers a paralysis, he entrusts his affairs to his nephew, who embezzles his money and poisons his aunt when she discovers the truth. The doctor learns of the matter but blackmails him into agreeing to let him marry the Pasha’s daughter. The Pasha later recovers and learns about everything that happened, and his nephew is killed by the police.
