Gahir remembers her mother’s illness with smallpox, her father Abdullah’s marriage to Umm Sita, and her mother’s suicide attempt after she loses hope to recover. Fahd works with his older brother Mansour in real estate.

Abdullah leaves the village and travels with his children. He asks Mansour to rent a house for him. The latter admires Gahir, decides to marry her, and proposes to his brother Fahd to marry Sita.

Mansour and his brother Fahd propose marriage to Abdullah's daughters, and Mansour decides to expand his business.

The wedding of Sita and Gahir takes place, and their father travels to his farm. Meanwhile, Sita helps her husband, Fahd, with his work, and Gahir quarrels with Mansour and forces him to fulfill many requests.

Sita and Gahir's father dies, and the latter seizes his money bag and refuses to divide it with Sita and their brother Sweilem. Mansour rejects what his wife, Gahir, did and tries to convince her to return the inheritance to its owners.

Mansour opens a new real estate company, and Gahir accuses Sita of stealing and beating her. Talal steals his wife’s gold so that he can partner with Mansour in his company.

Gahir discovers that Kahila’s son has stolen from her, so she blackmails her into reporting him to the police, or to carry out her plan against her sister Saita, who is giving birth to twins. So Gahir asks Kahila to take a child from them to be Gahir’s son instead of her baby, who died while giving birth.

Kahila takes Sita's son, hands him over to Gahir and names him Sultan. Sita is informed of his death during childbirth. Years pass, and Sultan grows up, and so did Noura, Sita's daughter.

Fahd disagrees with Mansour in business and leaves work. Fahd's financial condition deteriorates and he is forced to work in construction. Thus, Sita works as a cleaner, and Fahd forces his daughter Noura to leave school.

Ghada tries to convince Sita to allow her daughter, Noura, to complete her studies. Gahir tries to have another child, but to no avail. Gahir causes a dispute between Sita and her husband, Fahd.

Fahd falls ill and needs urgent surgery. Gahir falsely claims that she was pregnant and had a miscarriage because of Sita, and asks Mansour to move to another house.

Mansour's business flourishes, and he asks his brother to return to work with him, but the latter refuses and continues to sell food on the street. Mansour moves with his wife and Sultan to a large house.

Fahd's health condition deteriorates and he is taken to the hospital. Mansour asks Sita to stay at his house until Fahd regains his health.

Fahd dies in the hospital, and Mansour takes Sita to the palace to live there with her daughter, Noura.

Noura asks her mother to complete her studies, and Mansour objects to his wife, Gahir’s pampering of Sultan and his failure to study.

Sultan admires his cousin Noura and helps her attend university.

Sultan takes over the management of his father's company while the latter travels abroad. Joanna tries to trap Mansour in her net, and Noura tells her mother, Sita, that Sultan is trying to get close to her.

Sultan quarrels with Kahila's son, and Sultan confesses to Noura his love for her, not knowing that she is his sister.

Sultan asks his father to propose to his cousin Noura, but Gahir falsely claims that they are brothers-in-law and insists on his marriage to Souad, Kahila’s daughter.

Gahir accuses Sita of theft in order to keep Noura away from Sultan. Ghada falls ill with cancer. Gahir travels to Lebanon and beats Joanna in order to keep her away from her husband, Mansour. Sultan suffers from a painful car accident.

The doctor informs Mansour that Sultan has a hereditary heart disease. Gahir fears discovering his connection to his real father's, Fahd, illness. Noura works in Mansour’s company.

Saleh admires Noura. Ghada's medical condition worsens. Talal convinces Mansour to marry another woman in order to degrade Gahir.

Nawaf leaves his wife, Ghada, and does not support her during her illness. Saleh asks Mansour for Noura's hand in marriage and Mansour proposes marriage to his secretary, Mashael.

Gahir suspects Mansour of cheating on her. Ghada stays away from Nawaf after her medical condition deteriorates. Saleh asks to be transferred to another department to get away from Noura, and Mansour and Mashael get married.

The doctor informs Mansour that Mashael is pregnant. Sita is forced to agree to her daughter Noura’s marriage to Sultan in secret and put his mother in front of the fait accompli.

Ghada is taken to the hospital, and Nawaf tries to communicate with her to no avail. Noura tells Gahir that Mansour married his secretary, so she breaks down and is taken to the hospital.

Gahir asks Kahila to abort Mashael. Sultan asks Noura to speed up their marriage, and Sweilem is taken to the hospital.

Sweilem dies and Gahir regrets her bad treatment of himIbn Kahila's son runs over Mashael with his car, causing her to lose her fetus. Kahila's son is taken to the hospital due to a car accident.

Sita threatens Gahir to obtain her right to their father’s inheritance from her. Mansour accuses Gahir of killing Mashael's baby. Ghada dies, and Mansour gets Noura engaged to Sultan.

Kahila's son dies from his wounds, and on the night of Sultan and Noura’s wedding, Gahir tries to prevent it because they are brothers. However, Kahila reveals that this is not true and tells everyone that Sultan is Sita's son and Noura is Gahir's daughter, and that she only switched them.
