In 1927, during the period of the French Mandate, the Damascene neighborhood of Al Shaghour witnesses the murder of Salem, the son of a local leader, who was killed for having important papers that included dangerous language condemning a powerful faction in “Al Saraya.”


In 1927, Syria witnessed a period of political turmoil and resistance against the French occupation, which employed the concept of "Divide and Conquer", sparking controversy and war between social sects. The show is set in several towns in Damascus and covers the struggle for power.
