After forty years of absence, Allal returns from Egypt to Morocco, but his wife tells him that he is dead to his son Farid. As she does not forgive him for leaving them, Allal asks her to stay as a cook in the house, and she's forced to agree.

As Farid has a weak personality, his mother and wife are the ones who control everything. When Mukhtar wants to leave the house, Allal takes his place; Farid's mother refuses and orders Mukhtar to stay, so Allal decides to leave the house. When everyone drinks the juice, they all faint, including Allal.

The mentally ill Mukhtar, who suffers from a double personality disorder, binds all family members and confines both Allal and his wife in one room. When he regains his consciousness, he apologizes to them.

The nurse Qamar tells Farid that she's angry with him because he left her and married Sabah; when the Hajja sees them, she asks her son to mind his behavior. Omar has lunch with his friends after he goes to visit them.

Sabah discovers that Farid met Qamar on the day of their wedding as Qamar was threatening him that she was pregnant, but Farid hid the matter from Sabah. When Qamar arrives to ask him to marry her, the Hajja kicks her out. Allal doesn't understand what's going on.

Farid tries to reconcile with Sabah after Omar takes her to the poor family to calm down, but she only feels more miserable, so she accepts her husband's suggestion to go to his clinic and talk.

Farid decides to bring the poor family home to treat them since they believe Omar to be their son Wahid. As the Hajja hatches a plan with Allal, she eventually accuses him of theft.

When the Hajja discovers that Skeeter is the thief, Omar grieves, but Skeeter tells them that he is a thief who has principles. Sa'eed tells Rania that he is fed up with Skeeter's daughters and wants her to tell her father to take them home.

Zuhour decides to hire a security guard after she learns that someone wants to break into the house and rob it. As she asks him to be her bodyguard, she installs surveillance cameras everywhere, which surprises the family members.

Hayat quarrels with Farid because he does not pay attention to his children, while Allal tells him that his children have problems that he does not know about, especially Omar and Rania. When Zuhour's friend comes to visit her, Allal thinks she's talking about him.

Rania beats her colleague after a quarrel, and the police arrest her, but the girl forgives Rania; Farid goes with Allal to pick her up from the police station. Omar also causes trouble, and his father picks him up from the police station.

After following Allal's advice, Farid gets closer to Rania and Omar and becomes their friend, and Zuhour is happy about it. When Sabah returns home, Farid asks her to forgive him despite his mother's opposition.

When Sabah goes to the radio station where she was working, the broadcaster calls her husband and asks him about the woman who helped him throughout his life; he tells him that she's called Shams, which angers Sabah. As Farid goes to the club where he plays, Allal follows him.

When Allal asks Farid to tell Sabah that he works at a nightclub as a musician with the singer Shams, Farid is afraid of his wife's reaction. As Omar and Rania also learn about their father's work, they try to get rid of Shams with the help of Mas'oud.

As Omar, Rania, and Mas'oud kidnap Shams in the car to keep her away from Farid, they face many problems on the road, and they get close to getting caught. Allal takes Yaqoot to the club to learn ballet despite Zuhour's objection.

Omar and Rania return after letting Shams go to congratulate Yaqoot on her victory in the ballet competition. As Sabah wears a dance costume and continues to dance in the bedroom, her husband is amazed and he admires her.

While he's going to his work in the nightclub, a man stops Farid and jumps into the car, and he turns out to be an escaped convict. The man tells Farid and Allal that he escaped because he wants to see his son. When Farid takes him home, the man’s wife kicks them out and doesn't let him see his son.

As Farid commemorates the anniversary of his father's death as a martyr in the war, as his mother told him, Allal objects to that and quarrels with Zuhour. When Allal's friend comes, he recognizes him and asks Allal to marry Zuhour in exchange for not exposing him to his son.

As Bin Musa proposes to marry Zuhour, Allal tries to make her understand that she cannot marry because he is still alive. Omar brings Bin Musa's wife to learn that her husband wants to wed another woman. Sabah learns that Allal is Farid's father.

When Bin Musa asks for Zuhour's hand in marriage from Farid, Yaqoot gets upset because she does not want her grandmother to get married. As Allal packs his clothes to leave the house, Zuhour changes her mind at the last minute and refuses to marry Bin Musa.

After Allal tells Sabah the story of his life, she writes it and agrees with a director to turn it into a film for a fee of two million dirhams. Allal agrees after Sabah tells him that she will split the money with him. Farid goes with his mother to visit his father's grave.

As the director asks Allal to show him the nightclub where he used to perform, he asks him to bring his old friends. But when the director doesn't like the nightclub, he begins to change the script, and Sabah gets upset and decides to find another director.

Sabah plans with a girl to come to the house and flirt with Farid, but Farid does not pay her any attention. As the girl likes Allal, everyone tries to convince her that he's like her father. When Zuhour feels jealous, Sabah laughs about it when she finds out.

As Rania quarrels with Omar because he pranked her and her friend, Zuhour tries to reconcile between them. As Allal cleans the copper pots, he wants to find a solution to his problem with Zuhour.

As Farid asks Allal to help him get his mother to live normally as she used to before his father’s death, Allal stays with Zuhour all day long which makes Farid jealous, but his mother starts to change as she learns to love music.

As Omar and Rania discover the secret of their father and his work in the nightclub, they admonish him, but he tells them that this is his hobby which he loves. They eventually come to grips with the situation.

The presenter of a competition program agrees with Bu Gharib's family to film them and ask them some questions after splitting them into two teams. All family members, even Allal and Mas'oud, join them.

As the singing and dance competitions continue at Bu Gharib's family's home, Farid wins as the best musician, while Yaqoot wins as the best dancer. Zuhour is shocked when she sees her son playing the drums.

As the cooking competition segment arrives, Rania wins as the best cook. When Omar enters the recording room, he discovers that Laila is secretly recording the conversations taking place between family members along with her colleague Mahmoud, which gets her fired.

Farid gets angry with Mas'oud when he sees him talking with his daughter in the garden. When Omar goes out and forgets to take his phone with him, his father decides to punish him by planning with everyone to pretend to be sad that he's dead.

As Bu Gharib's family continues with their prank to treat Omar as if he's dead, he feels provoked. When Farid asks Mas'oud to leave work after seeing him with Rania, Zuhour is not happy about it as she sees him as her son.

Allal tries to ask Zuhour's forgiveness in every way and to tell Farid that he's still alive, but she refuses. Sabah wants to know why her husband leaves every night and returns at dawn.

As Zuhour goes with Sabah and her children to the nightclub, she is surprised to see Farid playing the drums and feels enraged.

When a broadcaster from Egypt goes to Bu Gharib's house to have an interview with Allal about his relationship with an old Egyptian artist, she's surprised when Zuhour tells her that he has passed away, but Allal tells her his whole story, and she starts to like him.

Zuhour grows worried about Rania when she learns that there is a gang that finds girls through Facebook and then kidnaps them to steal their organs; she informs Allal. Rania and her brother Omar are constantly quarrelling.

As Sabah participates in a savings cooperative, she changes her temperament and becomes more flexible, which makes Farid notice this and admire her a lot. Allal and Zuhour are behaving like children.

Rania and her father research her family's genes to figure out what has been inherited in terms of characteristics. Zuhour meets Allal in a cafe to discuss the children’s affairs. Mas'oud treats Rania with indifference.

As Rania goes to the house of the man she got to know, she finds his family, who forces her to marry him and puts her in a wedding dress. Her father, brother, Allal, and Mas'oud go to rescue her after disguising themselves in women’s clothing.

As Mas'oud tries to get close to Rania, they sit together in the garden, and Sabah becomes angry when she sees them. As Zuhour searches for a suitor for Rania, she talks to her friends. Under pressure from his grandmother, a young man comes to the house, asking to see Rania to marry her.

When the family of the suitor, chosen by Zuhour, goes to ask for Rania's hand from her parents, the young man starts acting strangely, while his family only brags about their properties, which provokes both Farid and Sabah, while Rania doesn't approve of him.

Farid plans with Sabah to go to a hotel to have a second honeymoon in order to rekindle their love, especially since they got married at a young age; their children are happy for them. When Mas'oud's mother, Safiya, comes to the house, she admires Allal and wants to get closer to him.

After listening to him performing, an Egyptian producer offers Farid a job in Egypt, with Sabah's help. As Safiya continues to pursue Allal, Zuhour gets jealous and asks Mas'oud to take his mother home. As Allal agrees to divorce Zuhour, she refuses this time.

The singer Walid Toufic travels to Morocco to meet with the program editor whom he agreed with to persuade Allal to give him his old song in exchange for money. As Mas'oud writes a letter to Rania and confesses his love for her, she throws the letter away, but Zuhour finds it.

As Walid Toufic meets Allal and the rest of the family, they welcome him. As Farid is surprised that Walid knows him and his mother, Zuhour finally confesses that Allal is his father who left him when he was young and traveled to Egypt, which made Zuhour lie to Farid and tell him that his father died.

Allal reveals the truth about the presenter and her betrayal of Walid Toufic. As Allal gives up the song to him, Walid sings it at a large nightclub, and Farid and his family attend after he forgives both his parents. Mas'oud returns after Rania takes him back.
