Maryam suffers due to her husband Fahd's suspicions and extreme jealousy, while Talal and his fiancée, Rawiya, prepare for their nuptials and undergo medical tests before marriage.

Fahd quarrels with Maryam over her relationship with her cousin. Talal's marriage test results reveal that he has a disease that prevents him from marrying Rawiya.

As Hessa treats Maryam's mother badly, the latter decides to stay in a nursing home. Talal is forced to break off his engagement to Rawiya.

Maryam quarrels with her husband because of his jealousy, Fahd imagines killing Maryam and getting rid of her, and Talal obtains his doctorate.

Fahd suspects that his wife and their neighbor are having an affair. Rawiya is shocked when she learns that Talal is looking for a wife.

Fahd apologizes to Maryam for his constant suspicion of her, and the latter learns to swim behind his back. Talal asks his mother to find him a bride.

Fahd suspects Maryam of cheating on him, and the latter complains to Talal about her harsh life with Fahd. Rawiya’s mother suggests that Noura marry Talal.

Talal meets and likes Noura, and Maryam hides her pregnancy from Fahd.

Rawiya keeps thinking about Talal and is sad that he is away from her, and Maryam decides to end her pregnancy.

Fahd hits Maryam while she was talking to their neighbor, causing her to lose her fetus. Talal seeks to help Maryam solve her problem with Fahd.

Talal's mother betroths Noura to her son. As Maryam goes on a sea trip with her husband, she confesses to him her hatred for him, and throws herself into the water. Everyone believes that she has drowned, but she swims to the shore without anyone seeing her.

The water police search for Maryam's body to no avail. Meanwhile, Maryam changes her appearance and travels to Kuwait, while Fahd collapses, believing that she is dead.

Maryam calls herself Hanan, rents an apartment from Dana, and decides to start a new life. Fahd dwells on his past memories of Maryam and remembers his harsh treatment of her.

Maryam starts her new job at the theater with the director Muhammad, while Noura complains to her mother that Talal is treating her differently. Fahd finds Maryam’s wedding ring in the bathroom.

Maryam tells her mother everything that happened between her and Fahd, who travels to Kuwait to search for Maryam.

Dana proposes to her father to marry Maryam, whose mother tells Fahd about her daughter's work in a theater. Muhammad gets closer to Maryam, unaware of her hidden identity.

As Talal travels to Kuwait, he meets Muhammad and they agree to cooperate together, while Fahd devises a plan to search for Maryam and convinces Hessa to tell him any information about her.

Muhammad meets Fahd, while Talal meets Maryam, and as he becomes suspicious of her, she tells him that her name is Hanan.

Maryam is afraid when her mother tells her that she met Fahd, who decides to monitor the director Muhammad to find out where Maryam's house is.

Maryam takes a job at Dana's father company. Noura suspects that Talal is still seeing Rawiya. As Maryam is upset by the news of Muhammad's marriage, Dana tries once again to persuade her to marry her father.

Muhammad denies the rumor of his marriage, and Fahd makes sure that Maryam is in the theater and that she is alive.

Muhammad confesses his love to Maryam, who reveals to him her identity and that she is married. Fahd visits Maryam’s mother in the nursing home and threatens her.

Dana tries to find out Maryam's secret, and the latter tells her that an unknown person broke into her apartment. Muhammad promises to help Maryam solve her problem with her husband. Maryam turns to Officer Ahmed, Dana's husband, to help her.

Things get worse between Talal and his wife. Maryam takes her mother from the nursing home and asks her uncle to arrange a place to stay. Fahd confronts Muhammad about his relationship with Maryam and threatens to report him to the police. Dana believes that Ahmed is cheating on her with Maryam.

Dana kicks Maryam out of the apartment; Ahmed tells Dana's father about Maryam's problem; Fahd remembers his previous relationship with Maryam and how he treated her.

Muhammad tells Maryam about his meeting with Fahd, who continues to follow her everywhere. Muhammad reveals to Talal that Maryam is disguised as Hanan in order to escape from Fahd.

Fahd breaks into the building where Maryam lives. Noura asks for a divorce from Talal. Muhammad tries to persuade Maryam to turn herself in and confess to impersonating Hanan.

Rawiya tells her mother that she likes her co-worker, but when she learns of Talal’s divorce from Noura, she thinks about returning to him. Talal confronts Fahd about his monitoring of Maryam.

Maryam remembers how badly Fahd used to treat her, and Talal tries to convince Fahd to divorce her, but Fahd beats her after she agrees to meet him.

Fahd reports Maryam to the police and her impersonation of another person. As Maryam runs away and hides in a deserted place, Fahd arrives and shoots her. Talal asks Rawiya to marry him but not have children.
