In the wake of what he has done, Suhail begs his father for forgiveness, but his father refuses to forgive him. Selim tries to blackmail Erwa.
Umm Abdu (Abdu's mother) asks her husband to forgive their son. When Dr. Tawfik confesses to having feelings for Nada, she tells him that she is in a relationship. Abdel Karim decides to marry Fakhriya.
In order to preserve her rights, Abu Abdu gives his daughter, Nada, some gold as a part of her inheritance. Abu Abdu's family goes to ask for Fakhriya's hand for Abdel Karim.
After stealing his money, Suhail leaves his father's house and decides to leave the country, reaching out to Nada and Erwa to help him with his endeavor.
Erwa informs his father that Hesham wants to marry Nada. Abu Abdu approves of Hesham after meeting him. Suhail prepares to travel abroad.
Umm Abdu falls ill in the wake of Suhail's departure. Abdel Karim tells his father that he doesn't want to marry Fakhriya.
Hanaa grows closer to Erwa. As Razan asks to meet Erwa, she expresses her regret for breaking up with him. Hesham and Nada get engaged.
Erwa meets Rasha. As Erwa starts to grow close to Hanaa, they fall for each other. Abu Abdu decides to help Hesham, his daughter's fiancé.
Acting under pressure from Selim, Razan asks Erwa for money. Erwa proposes to Hanaa. Umm Abdu passes away. Hesham gets arrested and accused of treason.
Abdel Karim takes charge of all of his father's work. Abu Yazan (Yazan's father) tells Abu Abdu that he knows where Hesham was imprisoned.
The police summon Erwa for questioning. It's revealed that Abdel Karim has a domineering nature that led him to plot to seize all of his father's properties.
Selim takes money from Razan. Abdel Karim asks his father for a procuration, but his father refuses so as not to be unfair to the rest of his children.
Hedo warns Erwa about Razan's blackmail. It's revealed that Selim is holding Razan's son hostage to blackmail her. Abu Abdu's age causes his eyesight to fail. Erwa asks for Hanaa's hand in marriage. Abdel Karim decides to marry Buthaina.
Nada informs Buthaina that Abdel Karim wants to marry her. Erwa gets married to Hanaa.
Abu Abdu informs Erwa that he wants to divide his fortune among them, but Erwa opposes the idea. Abdel Karim weds Buthaina. Hanaa informs Erwa that she is pregnant.
Abdel Karim mistreats Buthaina. Abu Al-Ezz informs Abu Abdu that Abdel Karim has been sabotaging the business and that he has decided to sell the factory.
It's revealed that Abdel Karim could have helped Hesham, but he chose not to. Buthaina discovers that she is pregnant. When Hanaa suffers a miscarriage, Erwa cares for her.
Abu Hesham (Hesham's father) forces his daughter Buthaina to apologize to her husband. When Abdu sells his father's lab, Abu Abdu is unable to bear the shock, which causes his spirits to plummet.
As Erwa pulls out all the stops to make Hanaa happy, her bad psychological state proves to be too consuming for her to accept his attempts to help.
Abdu admonishes his father for writing the family home over to Nada. As Nada and Abdu clash, Abdu decides to sell all the properties to himself and deprive his siblings of the inheritance.
When Abu Abdu passes away, Abdel Karim decides not to give his siblings their rightful inheritance. When Erwa falls ill, Rasha takes care of him.
Erwa supports his sister in the wake of his father's death. As Tawfik grows closer to Nada, she ends up marrying him. Five years later, Hesham gets released.
Nada decides not to sabotage her life with Tawfik. In order to improve their relationship, Nada has a boy. Hesham gets arrested again. Hanaa's illness gets the better of her and she passes away.
Erwa tells Rasha about his consuming guilt in the wake of Hanaa's death and about how he married Razan before eventually divorcing her.
As Dr. Tawfik enables Hesham's assisted suicide to put an end to his torment, Tawfik gets arrested and charged with murder. When Nada asks Abdu to help Tawfik, he agrees to do it, but only if she gives up her inheritance.
As Suhail returns to his home country, he is shocked to witness the changes that have occurred to the family and how they have splintered as a result.
