An unlikely bond grows between Vincent, a down-on-his-luck hedonistic vet, and his neighbor Oliver, a young boy whom Vincent babysits while his mother is at work. Against all odds, Vincent becomes a mentor to the boy, who starts to see the good in the otherwise fallible vet.
