Fadel is upset about his financial inability to complete his engagement to Reem due to the conditions the country is going through and the bombing of his family's house because of the war.

Zuhair decides to help Reem in her work because he loves her so much, while Marwan asks Fadel to stay away from his daughter, Reem.

Fadel's foot is amputated after the bombing of a market while he was there. Reem stands by his side, and after he recovers, they get engaged.

Because of his work in the media, Amer is kidnapped by terrorist groups, who torture him. Abu Ahmed (Ahmed's fatther) and his wife are killed. It turns out that Safi is unofficially married to Baria, and after she gets pregnant, he abandons her.

The terrorist group offers Amer to cooperate with them and threatens to kill him. As Nanda discovers that her husband, Safi, has cheated on her, she decides to stand by Baria after she's gotten pregnant.

Nanda files a divorce lawsuit against her husband, whereupon Safi marries Baria officially for not filing a lawsuit against him.

Nanda eventually splits up with Safi. Amer is killed by the terrorist groups.

Rawya works as a news anchor and puts herself in jeopardy for her work. Nour is upset about Bassem's neglect of her and his children.

Samer tries to patch things up between Reem and Taim. Abu Noah asks Rabie to gather information about the anchor Rawya.

As Rawya discovers that other channels' reports have been tampered with, spreading false news, she tells Bassem. Taim is kidnapped by Abu Noah's group.

Walid admonishes Rawya for violating the rules of the job. Rabie helps Taim escape and refuses to kill him. Moreover, Rabie helps his neighbor, Rawya.

Abdo warns Rabie about Abul Layl. As Abu Noah discovers that Rabie has messed with them in their work, he decides to kill him. Rabie tells Rawaya the truth about his work, after which Abu Noah kills him.

As Nermin refuses to travel outside the country, Fida decides to return to his country to marry Nermin.

After the bombing of a park, Nermin attends to a young boy. Fida asks Majd to help him patch things up with Nermin.

Fida returns to the Levant to see his mother. Abu Zain falls in love with Nermin after she helped his son.

Fida's mother stays in Nermin's house after America threatens to bomb Syria. Majd decides to betroth Sarah.

Fida's mother is taken to the hospital after suffering a health crisis. Fida dies and Nermin is injured after a shell is dropped on them.

Jumana flees after her husband is killed by her brother, upon which she resides in a girls' shelter, and it turns out that Adil wants to return her to her brother, Jaber, whereupon Adil kills Adam, the manager of the shelter.

Officer Nasr watches the car of Jumana's kidnappers. The police suspect that Nasr killed Adam, but he explains to them the misunderstanding.

Hoda ends her engagement to Shaher. The police set ambushes to catch Nasr and the kidnappers, while Jumana manages to escape and is found by Nasr.

Jaber and his gang search for Jumana, and when they find her, Nasr stands up to them and defends her. Jaber kills Adil.

As the rest of the gang is arrested, Nasr is proven innocent, and he returns to his work, protecting the people from criminals.
