The series revolves around highly sophisticated electronic intelligence and the implantation of an electronic chip in the protagonist's head. The motive is to obtain classified information to protect US security from enemies and foreign attacks, but the protagonist uses this advanced technology to search for his wife, who disappeared years ago during a previous intelligence operation.
