Joury travels outside Syria to her husband, and on the first day of their marriage, she learns that he is sadistic. Rafiq advises his daughter to think well before she dons a veil. Dr. Youssef receives the news of the death of his friend in the bombing of Aleppo.

Joudy, Joury's sister wears the veil. Joury takes the first plane back to Syria and separates from her husband, which stirs her friend's criticism. Nawal gets mad when they're sent a warning notice from the bank urging them to leave the house; she calls Youssef for help.

Joudy meets a girl online and suggests a couple of religious-teaching books. Nawal gets mad at her son who took the cigarettes of the careless father. Joury notices something that strikes her as dangerous on the laptop. Mahasin asks Rafiq to reconcile Joury and her husband.

Joury runs away with the laptop; Fawaz is threatened to be murdered if someone lays hands on the laptop. Joury stays at Soliman's apartment; when she faints, Soliman's neighbor, Youssef, rushes to help her. Ehab meets a girl on Facebook.

Fawaz is threatened to urge him to bring back the laptop. Joury tells Toulin that the laptop has the documents for suspicious deals against Syria, and she asks her help to gather information and contacts to save the country.

Youssef looks after Joury, and she grows fearful that he might learn the truth about her. The laptop screen is scratched. Sultan tries to lure Joudy. Rafiq searches Homs for Joury, and Joury refuses to wed Soliman.

Youssef tells Soliman that Joury has a severe illness, and Soliman advises Joury to come clean to her husband about why she needs a divorce. Roy meets Soliman for their next deal. Mahasin travels to Homs in search of Joury, and her daughter assures her that Joury is safe and sound.

Fawaz monitors Joury's family. As Joury falls unconscious and symptoms of paralysis manifest on her, Youssef rushes her to the hospital. Joury recalls how her ex-husband used to cruelly treat her. Meanwhile, her feelings for Youssef surge and heighten.

Joury has a thorough medical check and then returns home with Youssef. Joury starts looking into the files and learns of Fawaz's arms-dealing business. Laila asks the employees at the cafe to help her film a documentary portraying the current situation in Syria.

Joury tells Youssef that she had another husband before Fawaz, and he advises her to return to her family's house until she gets a divorce. Meanwhile, she starts to hallucinate and Youssef looks after her and urges her to rest because her condition is critical.

Fawaz resumes his arms-dealing business and tries to get Nay to divulge where Joury is. Youssef urges Joury to start treatment at once. Laila starts filming her documentary.

On the way to the operation room, Joury recalls the bombing of their house, and Layth recalls his first encounter with Joury. Youssef considers taking a leave to better look after Joury. Soliman gives Youssef the money they've agreed upon.

Fawaz is informed that Joury hasn't left the Levant. Joudy learns that the woman she's chatting with is a fraud. Joury recalls her interview with Fawaz prior to their marriage, and how he wore the mask of a peace lover and deceived her among many others.

Fawaz communicates to Joury that he divorced her at court but he needs his laptop back. Youssef arranges with Dr. Sherbel to start Joury's treatment. Joury decides to return home, not sure whether she should expose Fawaz's embezzlement. Solima tells Joudy she spends the money on the poor.

Youssef's dreams of establishing a hospital are dashed when Soliman asks him for two million dollars for his and Mostafa's shares. Joury gets a copy of the files, and when she falls unconscious, a random stranger hurriedly snatches her phone.

Rafiq falls unconscious. Youssef fails to convince Mostafa and Soliman to be their partner and establish the hospital together; they just need the money. Youssef and Joury get intimate as he tells her about his sister and she tells him about Fawaz's illegal arms dealings.

Sherbel tells Youssef once the results of the recent tests are known, they'll start with Joury's treatment. Jaber learns that his sister is sick and Fawaz's suspicious deals took a toll on her. Toulin tells Joury that Fawaz has been threatening her.

Joury breaks down when her father passes away. Majda advises her brother Youssef to get married. Joury and Toulin arrange for a meeting. Youssef gives Jaber the laptop to make a copy of the files. Fawaz has Toulin kidnapped.

Shams's mother throws a banquet for Jaber and his daughter. Youssef's brothers insist on getting their shares in the inheritance. Joury senses there is something wrong with Toulin. Laila gets mad at Mostafa for his abuse of cannabis. Joury and Youssef leave their place.

Fawaz tortures Toulin to reveal where Joury is. Joury and Youssef reach a safe place as Joury learns that Toulin is in danger. Youssef grows sad over his brother's refusal of his setting up a hospital. Fawaz forces Toulin into calling Joury and arranging for a meeting.

Majda falls unconscious and Youssef takes her to the hospital. The gang threatens Fawaz and urges him to bring the laptop back.

Fawaz's men kidnap Jaber and Joury grows worried. Jaber asks Shams's mother to give the laptop to Samir who in turn will deliver it to the security. Sultan's prostitution business looks up.

Fawaz kidnaps Soliman. Samir delivers the laptop to the security. Joury returns to her mother and informs her of her disease and Fawaz's illegal business. Mostafa decides to partner up with Hussein. Layth feels threatened by Sultan.

Youssef urges Joury to tell Fawaz that the national security has the laptop, but she has a copy of the documents. Layth falls ill. Joury opens up to Youssef about the suffering she had to live through amidst the war and the bombing. Soliman's partners learn where he is.

Soliman's men clash with Fawaz's in a crossfire. Layth tells his girlfriend Maram that he has cancer and he regrets all his wrongdoings. Fawaz runs away with Soliman, Toulin, and Jaber. Roy, Soliman's partner, tells Youssef that since Soliman is kidnapped, he wants his money back.

Youssef informs Mostafa and Majda that Soliman is kidnapped. Fawaz is warned that the boss intends to have him murdered. Fawaz pays Zuhair a fortune to ensure he doesn't turn on him. Youssef manages to save Soliman and takes him to the hospital.

Zuhair is forced to murder Fawaz or otherwise he will be killed along with him. Samir tells Joudy he loves her. Soliman wakes up and tells Joury what Fawaz did. Zuhair shoots Fawaz and asks Jaber to upload the video of his murder on YouTube. Jaber and Toulin are now free.

Weeks later, Layth and Maram set up their own project, and Roy resumes his business with Soliman, but they're shocked to learn of Hussein's murder. Nay resumes her job at the newspaper.

Gharam breaks down when she learns her friend Salam's house was bombarded and she passed away, while Laila documents all the sufferings for her film. Youssef tells Sherbel he loves Joury but worries that her ex-marriages will make it hard for her to have a stable relationship with anyone else.

As Joury feels more in control of her life, she writes articles exposing the immoral act of using war for personal benefits. Zuhair and Soliman are both arrested. Youssef communicates his feelings to Joury, but an unpleasant surprise awaits her as it turns out Fawaz is alive.
