It follows Keith Church, a socially awkward chemistry teacher, who falls for Sarah Postern, a French teacher who sees herself as an inspirational figure. At the same time, Trevor Gunn, a rude sports teacher, is attracted to Sarah. The series also explores the relationships between the three teachers, their colleagues, and their students.
