While trying to score an interview for his podcast, Wallace finds himself in a dangerous predicament when the man he means to make the subject of his story turns out to be more dangerous than he thought.

Wallace co-hosts a popular podcast with his pal Teddy, focusing on cruel, mocking cringe humor. After his trip to Winnipeg to interview a subject comes up empty, Wallace decides to make the trip worth his while and find a good story to return with. A handwritten flyer he finds in a bar bathroom leads him to a peculiar old man full of tales to share from his life of adventure at sea, and this is where Wallace's voyage descends into straight-up madness.
