A group of misfits are hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house and acquire a rare tape. Upon searching the house, they are confronted with a dead body, a hub of old televisions and an endless supply of cryptic footage, each video more terrifying than the last.

On a mission to find a missing student, two private investigators are horrified to find a number of disturbing videotapes inside his house, showing that there may be more to his disappearance than meets the eye.

The events take place at the turn of the new millennium, through a collection of five gruesome stories of found footage.
